~Audrey's POV~
"What would you never do?" Abigail asks, wiggling her eyebrows. My god, that girl is so stupid.
"Rape a porcupine" I reply, rolling my eyes and setting my phone down. Abigail started laughing, her pale face quickly turning red. Because of that, I started laughing too. And of course, I snorted, which made her laugh even harder. Which made me laugh even harder. . . This cycle was never ending.
Or at least that's what I thought.
Apparently Niall walking by could end it.
Abigail noticed him first, straightening up and looking pointedly at me. Since we've been friends for so long, I knew what the look meant and straightened up myself. Clearing my throat I glanced to the side, smoothing a stray piece of my hair back.
Niall and his best friend, Liam, walked by. Niall's gorgeous blue eyes were locked with mine, and his lips curled up into a playful smile. I felt my cheeks heat up the longer he held my gaze. But I couldn't look away. And it seemed like he couldn't either.
He paused once he came to our table, and with a slight smirk he asked, "What's so funny?" In his rich Irish accent. Damn, it practically gave me shivers.
Abigail, being the sarcastic little shit she is, flipped her hair and smirked right back at him. "Oh, you know, Audrey and I were just discussing the size of your dick."
I burst out laughing at that, covering my mouth and hoping Niall wasn't disgusted by my atrocious laugh. His eyes widened and a look of shock overtook his features. He floundered for something to say, but Liam came to his rescue.
"I didn't know something so big was a laughing matter." He said smiling his patently kind smile. He may seem innocent, but he sure knows how to crack some jokes.
I would know. Niall, Liam, Abigail, and I banter.
A lot.
It's kinda our thing.
Abigail rolled her dark blue eyes yet again. "The only thing that would consider it 'big' would be an ant."
Niall blushed even more and I laughed harder. Liam smiled and put his hands up in surrender. "Alright, Alright, you win this one Thomas." He said, chuckling slightly.
Abigail flipped her wavy blonde hair over her shoulder. "When do I not?"
"Touché." Liam said, nodding. "Well, Niall and I have to report to shop before school, so we'll see ya later, yeah?"
"Yep." I said, not looking at him or Niall. Only when they walked away did I study Niall.
Abigail elbowed me. "Aud, you don't want to make it too obvious." She whispered, giving me a look. I sighed, knowing she was right. I didn't really like the idea of the whole school knowing I liked Niall Horan.
Okay, maybe I should explain. I've had a crush on Niall since like, the seventh grade. And now, we're juniors. So basically, forever. He's one of the popular guys, him and his four best mates; Liam, Zayn, Louis, and Harry. Liam is the smart and kind cutie who everyone likes. Zayn is the bad boy who is more of an outcast, the boys are the only ones who talk to him. He's also ruggedly handsome, and I'm sure many girls have a crush on him. Louis is the prankster of the whole school. He's the sassy one out of the group, and is a fun guy. Harry is probably the most popular. The girls all love his looks, and he's an athlete as well as a heartthrob. He plays basketball, track, and swims at a nearby club.
But Niall, Niall is different. Niall is the funny one, the one with the addicting laugh. He's also the only Irish one, as the other four are British. Why they're in Nebraska, no one knows. Niall's also an athlete. He plays basketball, track, and soccer, or as he calls it, "football". He also sings and plays guitar. But he's not as recognized as Harry.
