Good vibes
Aisha's POV
I was now entering a room with Adam because he said he had something to talk to me about. Honestly, I don't know what his about to say
"Can we sit down first?" he said pointing to a seat near him while he sat across from me
"So um what do you wanna talk about" I said kinda curious
He looked at the ground he looked cute when he did that
"Well I don't know how to say this but umm .... " He said looking as though he had troubling forming the words
"Just say it Adam, I'm ready to hear whatever it is" I said in hopes of reassuring him that regardless of what it is I'm prepared to hear it
"Okay Its actually a really long story but it all began with our moms becoming best friends after college for them" He said
Hold up he knows my brother and he knew us back in Canada when we were little?
"Your brother Adam and you were born when I was 3 years old and your mom and my mom made a pact that they would both name their first boys by the same name. Your mom would always treat me like her son and my mom did the same for you and Adam. When we were both young and went to the same Elementary and eventually the same High School we were basically best friends even though you never let other guys come near you, we were neighbors and practically family from birth" He said
In the back of my head I knew there was something so familiar about him, something that made me feel calm around him
I was shocked we knew each other what... seriously?
"After the fifth grade we were inseparable we would eat lunch together play soccer together go to the masjid together and even become partners for all School Projects, but then high school came and I entered a year ahead because I was a year older after completing the 9th grade of my first year of high school me and my family had to move I've never been so sad in all my life, When I left I had acne and I was considered to be a nerd so I can understand how you don't recognize me, I tried to beg mom not to leave but she had to move back to help her sick sister and her children" He said staring out into the wall
Oh my god, I remember, he was my best friend, I was the closest to him then I've ever been with anyone
"Wow, that is a lot to take in" I said sitting down on the floor. I felt like I was getting dizzy I mean damn!
"Why were you crying," I asked
"I don't wanna talk about it there's so much more to the story Aisha just know this, I love you and I won't let Nora do anything to you I never thought you would be the person she always complained about stealing her man," he said
Okay he just said he loved me that kinda feels weird I mean the memories are coming back now I obviously remember him but I don't know, I think during middle school I had feelings for him before mom told me that he's like my older brother and I shouldn't even think about it
"I love you too Adam," I said I obviously mean that as a sisterly love, I would never betray Abdullah
