Kendall's POV

It's been a week since my mom came. Mica and I are back in LA, keeping it on the down low. Mom's words were still in my mind. It's like they were on a loop reminding me how much I fucked up Nicole's life.

"Hello?" Kevin's voice rang to my ears after he answered me.

"Hey Kev." I said.

"Kendall." Kevin said in a tone that I knew he was disappointed in me. I knew he was mad. I heard Nicole laugh in the background. My heart sunk. Her laugh has always been my favorite song. Yes, I'm still in love with her just like I'm in love with Mica. "What do you need?"

"Um... Well... I-" I started to say, but I was cut off.

"Kevin sweetie who is that?" I heard Carrie ask.

"It's Kendall." Kevin whispered. "Take Nikki and show her the colors you picked for the new nursery.

"Okay." I heard Carrie say.

"What were you saying?" Kevin asked.

"Is Carrie pregnant? I thought after... You know... I thought you two decided not to have any more." I said. Kevin sighed.

"That's not your business Kendall." Kevin said.

"Nicole told you." I said.

"And mom." Kevin said. He knew everything. "Why did you call?"

"I called to talk to my son since my life wife won't ta-"

"Ex wife." Kevin corrected me. "And you have two sons AND two daughters."

"But one doesn't talk actual words yet and two of them only talks a few words. I want to talk to my oldest." I said. I heard some shuffling.

"Kendall come here." Kevin said. When did he stop going by Little K?

"Yeah Uncle Kev?" I heard Little K say.

"Your dad is on the phone. He wants to talk to you." Kevin said.

"Do I have to?" I heard him ask.

"Don't you want to?" Kevin asked. It's like they forgot I'm still here.

"No." Little K said. There was silent for a few seconds before Kevin spoke.

"I'm sorry Kendall."
