Nicole's POV
Eggs.
Bread.
Milk.
Fruit.
Juice.I walked through the supermarket trying to mentally think of things needed for the house. It's been a few months since I divorced Kendall. A lot has happened. Kevin, with the help and support of Carrie adopted all the kids and we moved next door to Kevin. They wanted me to move in with them, but they just had a son and need their space. Kathy turned one. And the twins turned three. Little K stopped wanting to be called Little K, claiming he was too old for the nickname, but I know he dropped the nickname because Kendall gave it to him. Originally he called him Little K while I was pregnant we decided the name would still going to start with a K so Kendall always called the baby Little K while I was pregnant.
I wasn't paying attention to where I was going that I literally ran into someone.
"I'm so sorry." I said after hearing the guy groan. "I didn't mean to do that."
"It's okay." he said.
"I really am sorry I didn't mean to do that. I wasn't looking where I was going." I said. He laughed.
"It's okay. I swear." he said.
"Are you hurt?" I asked.
"No, I'm not. Relax love." he said. "What's your name?"
"Nicole Schm-Kinney." I said.
"Schm-Kinney? I don't think that's a real last name, but I could be wrong." he said.
"Just Kinney." I said, remembering I went back to my surname.
"Well just Kinney." he said, smiling. "I'm Brandon Riley. Is there any chance I could get your number?"
"What?" I asked.
"It's the least you can do after hitting me with your cart." he said. I thought about it for a minute before smiling.
"Sure."
