(Name) stood at the top of a dune. A sandstorm blew through the desert, casting strange black grains of sand into the air, obscuring almost everything but the Grimm's glowing red eyes.
There were hundreds of them, perhaps thousands.
And yet, they all stayed put. Either unwilling to attack, or unable to.
"Feel the energy." a deep voice vibrated in (Name)'s skull, seeming to come from every grain of sand in the desert. "Do you hear them calling you?" The sandstorm sped up, creating the ear defending sound of high speed winds.
(Name) felt himself suffocating, becoming ripped from reality. "Feel their presence." the voice continued, becoming more intense. "They serve you."
Suddenly, all the noise stopped, and the sandstorm became still, the black particles whipping through it freezed in mid air, like snowflakes caught in a gentle breeze. (Name)'s spine froze as he felt something's presence behind him, watching him. And it wasn't something (Name) wanted to look at.
"They want you to come home."

(Name) woke up, breathing heavily, and sitting bolt upright. He looked wildly around, finding himself sitting on Ruby's bed, suspended from the ceiling. Sunlight entered the nearby window, casting bright rays over the floor. Everything was silent, besides the occasional creak of a floor board.
(Name) felt a tug on his arm, and looked down to see Ruby lying asleep next to him. Her arms were flailing through the air slowly, and her face looked distressed, disturbed from her deep slumber.
When the arms made contact with (Name)'s arm, Ruby wrapped around it, pulling his arm closer to her body. She nuzzled against the arm, and her expression turned peaceful again, having restored whatever it was that made her sleep so easy.
(Name) found himself amused by Ruby's unconscious actions, but otherwise didn't know what else to make of them. "Has she been holding on to something?" he wondered, completely oblivious to the truth.
"How the heck did you wake up so fast?" Yang asked, hopping out of bed and stretching. "Weiss gave you like four times the normal dosage." She still wore her sleeping wear, a yellow tank top, and shorts. Yang made a loud Yawn as she stretched, and slowly made her way over to Ruby's bed.
"How'd I get up here again?" (Name) asked, blinking to try and remember.
"So..." Yang started, sounding confused. "You really don't remember anything after we gave you those pills?"
"Pills?" (Name) asked, growing cautious. "Nothing," Yang said. "Forget it. Enjoy your sleep?" she asked, changing the topic.
(Name) managed to slip his arm away from Ruby, and gently drop off the bunk bed, landing softly on his feet.
"There's a reason I don't usually sleep Yang." (Name) said darkly. "Some things tend not to stay buried as deep as I wish they would."
Yang laid off him, becoming worried. She hadn't seen this kind of behavior from (Name) before, and it didn't seem like it should have come from him. Usually, he was calm, and collected, if not a bit on the shy side at times. But this was different...
Weiss and Blake stepped out of their beds, and saw (Name). "How are you awake?!" they asked surprised, repeating Yang's earlier question.
(Name) reached for his armour, slipping it onto his body, and clicking his mask over his face.
"I'll see you all at the forever falls." he said, stepping out through the door.
"Sooo..." Blake began. "What do we do with Ruby?" she asked. The girls stared at Ruby, sound asleep in her bed. Her arms were searching the covers, trying to grab something that wasn't there. Probably something that had recently left the bed...
"Aaaawwww..." Yang thought, a smile touching her face. "My baby sister's so cute!!"

"Students, please collect jars of sap from the trees for Professor Port. But be wary of creatures of Grimm that may be lurking in this forest. I don't want anyone to be hurt on this field trip." Ms. Goodwitch instructed, slowly walking beneath the trees.
The Forever Fall Forest was beautiful, with tall red leaves trees that covered most of the sky, providing a pleasant glow on the ground below as light shines through the leaves.
(Name) listened to the sound of birds chirping distantly, and watched leaves as they fell from the trees above, joining the leaves that covered the ground in a thick layer.
"(NaaaaaAAAAAAME)!!!!" a voice shouted, becoming steadily louder as its owner became closer. (Name) turned his head to the side, just in time to see Yang sprinting towards him, arms open. Her body slammed into his, and she wrapped him in a tight hug as they fell. The two barrel rolled down a small hill, leaves shooting up in their wake. Yang laughed the whole way down, pleased with her work.
They came to a stop, and Yang took a moment longer to regain her composure. She smiled at (Name), who she was still hugging(and on top of) and reached up a hand, flicking his mask off. It landed softly in the leaves a few inches away, causing a rustling noise.
Beneath it, he didn't look to amused, but a small blush was painted across his pale skin.
"U-Um... Y-Yang?" he asked, with uncertainty.
"Yes (Name)?" Yang cooed, smiling.
"They're... T-Touching m-me..." (Name) stuttered, averting eye contact.
Yang looked down, and saw her breasts squeezed up against (Name)'s breastplate, and laughed. "It's just on your armour! There's no problem." she said, laughing the matter off. Her mood changed, and she looked at (Name) with an odd gleam in her eyes. "Unless..." she began suggestively. "You want to touch them more directly?" (Name) reddened even more, and pushed Yang off of him by her shoulders. "Awwww..." Yang purred. "We were just getting started."
"Yang! Don't tease (Name)!" Weiss scolded, both her and Blake catching up to the two who had tumbled down the hill. Blake had a fully clothed, sleeping Ruby on her back, who wouldn't wake up no matter how hard they tried to bother her.
"But it's so fun." Yang whined, standing up and brushing leaves off herself. "You should try it sometime Weiss." Yang suggested, making Weiss raise an eyebrow. "Put that rich girl shampoo to good use!" Yang continued, making Weiss blush, and look rather confused.
"W-Well..." Weiss said, clearing her throat. "We should tap one of these trees for some sap like Ms. Goodwitch asked us to."
(Name) picked up his mask as he stood up, brushing leaves off of his body. He raised it to his face, about to put it on, until Yang snatched the item away from him. She slipped it beneath beneath her shirt, eyeing (Name) with an expression that seemed to dare him to grab the mask.
"You're not putting this thing on while I'm watching you." Yang said, grinning. "That's my one rule."
"Rule?" (Name) asked airily. He cocked his head, and stared back at her, his eyes innocent like a child's. "Why should I have to follow it?" (Name) finished, unblinking.
Yang took a moment to mentally fawn over (Name)'s face, and quiet voice, before responding. "I'm set up on Ruby's schedule as the one responsible for you today. And that's my one rule. That you can't wear your mask while it's my turn on the schedule." Yang explained, turning her back to Yang, and following Weiss.
(Name) scratched his head, wondering why Yang thought she had some sort of power over him. As he saw it, he could do whatever he wanted and Yang couldn't stop him. Shrugging, he stood up and followed the rest of RWBY, who were wandering through the forest looking for an appropriate tree to tap. Finding one, they all say down, enjoying the scenery while the sap slowly oozed into one of the jars.
Yang sat with her legs outstretched, feeling the leaves on her bare skin. Blake sat next to (Name), who was sitting rather formally, with his back straightened, and feet beneath him.
Blake had set Ruby down behind them, who still slept undisturbed in the leaves behind them.
Weiss decided not to sit, trying to explain to the rest of the group that the leaves might get stuck in her skirt. But Yang pulled her down in the middle of her pointless ranting, landing her in a large pile of leaves. Weiss yelped, and sat upright, shooting a death glare at Yang.
"Well. You shouldn't have to worry about leaves in your skirt if it's already filled with them." Yang reasoned, shrugging.
As Weiss and Yang continued to argue, Blake leaned towards (Name). She reached up to his head, and plucked a red leaf out of his hair, taking a moment to examine it. Blake cast the item aside, and smiled at (Name). Seeing a similar lead in her hair, (Name) did the same to Blake, causing her to blush. As (Name)'s fingers grabbed the leaf, he touched Blake's bow accidentally, and swore he felt something move inside it. He was confused, but decided to ignore it, casting the leaf away.
"Man, when's Ruby going to wake up?" Yang complained, glancing at her sleeping sister.
"Probably not for a long time..." Blake said, craning her neck to see Ruby behind her.
"Maybe (Name) can wake her up!!" Yang suggested, becoming excited. Weiss scooted away from Yang, unsure of what the girl was thinking. "You ever heard of 'Sleeping Beauty?'" Yang asked, grinning. The rest of the girls blushed, thinking about what Yang was suggesting (Name) to do. "Maybe (Name) needs to give Ruby a little present..." Yang said, holding in laughter as she watched the girls faces around her.
(Name) didn't seem to get the gesture, and his cold eyes gazed at Yang thoughtfully. "We did find out that she is allergic to me." (Name) said plainly. "Maybe if I sat closer to her it would trigger a reaction." he deducted.
The girls looked at (Name) with varied expressions. Blake looked confused, while Weiss was blushing. "That was oddly cute." Weiss whispered, blinking several times. (Name) blushed, and Weiss realized what she had said aloud. "I-- I MEAN!!" she exclaimed, becoming frantic. "That tree!! Yeah!! That tree over there is cute isn't it??!!"
Yang watched all of this, and finally couldn't contain her laughter any longer. "Weiss! How can a tree be cute?" she asked, recovering, and then breaking out into laughter again as Weiss clenched her teeth, now fuming.
"(Name), have you never read Sleeping Beauty before?" Blake asked, waiting intently for his answer.
(Name) shook his head, and his eyes met Blake's. "My mother used to read me stories at night, but I've forgotten most of them." he said, his eyes saddening slightly.
"You talk about your mother a lot around me, is something wrong?" Blake asked.
(Name) looked away, hiding a small blush across his face. "I guess you remind me of her..." (Name) said. "If you had ears and a tail, I might not be able to tell the difference between you and her..."
"Dang, sometimes I wish you were a Faunus Blake." Yang thought aloud, clicking her tongue thoughtfully. Blake sighed, thinking of the irony in that statement.
"Sooooo..." Yang began, "Going back on topic, what do we want to do with Ruby?"
(Name) stood up, and walked over to Ruby's side, where he promptly sat down again.
"Oh my God... Is he going to do it?" all three watching girls thought, intently watching. (Name) leaned down to the sleeping girl, and his mouth opened partially. The girls waited expectantly for a kiss, with mixed emotions.
Then, (Name) let out a small breath, directly in Ruby's face. He sat upright again, apparently done, leaving the girls dumbfounded.
"Uh..." Yang spoke up. "(Name), what was that?" she asked, confused.
(Name) turned his head around, and his eyes remained the same emotionless cold as usual. "It didn't work. I thought she would sneeze." he explained.
"You're still on that?" Yang sighed, rubbing her forehead with a hand.
Suddenly, Ruby let out a small 'achoo,' and the other three girls expressions of confusion returned. Then they turned to awe as Ruby sat up, rubbing her eyes, and groggily looking around the forest.
"Oh..." (Name) said. "It did work."
"WHAAAT???!!!" Blake and Weiss shouted, gaping at Ruby.
"How did that even-?!" Weiss started, but then looked away. "Nevermind, I don't even want to know..." she finished bluntly.
Yang noticed a small plant in the space where Ruby's head had been, uncovered and resting beneath the leaves. She smirked, noticing that Ruby actually WAS allergic to this plant, but decided not to point it out to everyone.
"W-Where am I?!" Ruby asked, dazedly looking around the forest. "What happened??"
"Weiss overdosed you on knockout pills." Yang said, jamming a thumb towards the snow haired girl beside her. Weiss fumed, but didn't deny anything.
"Knockout pills?" Ruby asked.
"It's what I've decided to call (Name)'s sleep meds. I think the name is pretty appropriate too." Yang explained.
"WEISS??!!!" Ruby shouted, looking hurt. "How could you do that to me??"
"It's your fault for eating the cookies." Weiss huffed.
"Cookies?" Ruby said, not quite remembering the moments before passing out. "You know I love cookies!!" she shouted, feeling betrayed.
"Is that Jaune?" Blake asked, seeing the blonde boy standing on a ledge with something in his hand. The rest of the girls turned to look where Blake was looking. They all confirmed it was Jaune, and it seemed there was a jar of red sap in his hands... Waiting to be thrown.
"Rapier Wasps..." (Name) said, remembering Cardin's message to Jaune last night. He followed Jaune's line of sight, and saw Pyrrha with her team, targeted by the sap.
Jaune turned around, and threw the object in his hands behind him defiantly. Hands grabbed him, and he was dragged away from the small cliff.
"We should go see what he's doing." Blake suggested, and the group stood up, running towards the small cliffside. Team JNPR saw their distressed running, and joined them.
