Chap. 42 Calum

I feel my heart burn a little.
Is that possible?
Because as soon as I saw that guy from earlier stroll out of Cia's driveway I felt fumes.
His cheeks were flushed a little and he kept mumbling to himself and touching his lips.
I was on my way to Evan's house since he lives near her I think and I just had to find this perfect scene.
What do I care?
I've got Clarissa and a baby on the way.
As soon as he is out of sight I keep walking.
I need answers.
No I need to feel his bones break when I punch him.
Cia might just be my ex or whoever she was to me, but nobody hurts my ex or whoever she is without dealing with me. Especially that douchebag. I decide to take a U-turn and follow that guy.
   Who knows what his deal is?
I catch up to him and try my best not to make a loud sound as I linger behind him.
    He ends up at a house.
Obviously, Calum.
    It has wine colored paint and is pretty much the classic American build. Two floors, windows perfectly in place. 
    He knocks on the door then gives himself a face plant. He chuckles to himself as he fished out the keys from his jean pocket.
      But before he can attempt to turn the key in the lock the door flies open.
    An angry Evan in the doorway.
Fudge?
    "Look at the nerve you have." He growls.
He steps out onto the porch and I hide behind their trash can.
     "Yeah the nerve I have?" The other guy says chuckling darkly. 
    "Yes. You just had to pick a fight with me."
"You slapped her!" The other guy exclaims.
    He slapped her?
Oh Evan was so going to get it.
       "GINO! I didn't mean to. She was being annoying and then you and Calum and stepped in."
   So his name is Gino?
"Don't remind me about that douche."
    Ouch.
"So what's your deal then? Getting all protective of Cia?" Evan asks bitterly.  
   "Look you may be my step-brother but I don't have to spill my heart out for you."
   "Gino give me a break. Are you guys an item?"
    He touches his lips again.
Lips.
    She kissed him?!
Already?!?!?!
     "Yeah. And if you ever flipping touch her again your going to regret it."
    "Gino, you and I know perfectly well you won't be able to save her. Calum is going to find a way to hurt her again. So stop trying."
   "I'm not trying."
"Then what's with all that bullcrap about being friends from before? We both just moved here."
   "Well I needed to help her."
"Evan I know what you're planning. And one way or another you will fail."
    "Okay Gino. Whatever you say."
Okay so now I don't like Evan or Gino.
