Chapter 1: One Day You'll Find Home

"Harry, that was the most fun I've ever had. Who knew you were so good in bed." Kendra rolls her head back looking at me.

"How about the whole town female population?" I boast.

"Harry, please I'm your girlfriend now, last thing I want to hear is a story about the girls you fucked." Kendra rolls her eyes at me.

"Girlfriend? What gave you that impression?" I remark earning a dirty look from Kendra.

"I mean you did say that you wanted me and you felt something different with me. We connected. And we did just have sex." She explains to me.

"Yea, and you were drunk. Oh, and I forgot to tell you, April Fools." I laugh.

"Fuck you." She snaps.

"You just did sweetheart." I smirk knowing I hit a nerve.

"Stop the fucking car!" She orders and I obey. I watch her as she opens the car door and steps out. "Go to fucking hell, you bastard!" She shouts walking to my side. "You know what actually? No, everyone makes mistakes and say things they don't mean. So, I'll give you another chance. Bring me home and we can forget about tonight." She calms down a bit.

Wow, this one's a sticker and a forgiver. I roll my eyes in annoyance, unbelievable. Have some respect for yourself! Be a real woman, maybe then you'll catch my attention. Put on some clothes, get an education, and don't sell yourself short for douchebags like me.

"C'mon, I'm giving you a chance." She repeats. I sigh.

Such a shame, well I tried. I smile at her waving and drive away, leaving her in shock and confusion. Just another day, same old, same old.

···

"She said she'll give you another chance?" Louis asks in shock.

"Hold still. Yea, she did, I mean c'mon I just used you and threw you away, have some dignity." I reply.

"Well, how was she in bed. Don't let Eleanor know I asked. I love her and I'll never cheat, which is why I must live through you." He asks quickly defending himself. Louis, Louis, Louis, I chuckle.

"What's the point of being in a relationship? I love Eleanor and all, she's sweet and beautiful, but doesn't it get tiring same old, same old?" I ask him.

"It does, sometimes I'm tempted to go back to my old ways, but... love. That's what keeps us together, and that's what makes things interesting and exciting. She's home, and like they say, there's no place like it. And, aren't you getting tired of the same old, same old? I mean different girl but same scenario." He reasons with me, explaining.

"I can't love, love is stupid, and it's for idiots, like you." I snap.

"One day my friend, you'll find home." He stands up walking out the door.

"If only, if only." I mumble to myself as I hear the slam of the door.
