I stood up from my bed and looked at myself in the mirror.
"What...was that...all a dream?" I asked lifting my hand to grab my necklace, but didn't feel it there.
"What?! Where is my necklace?" I asked myself moving my shirt around to see it. In fact it wasn't there.
"Hello? Who is there?" I heard my mom voice say as I looked around my bed for the necklace. I slowly stood up and walked to the door. "Mom? It's me (Y/N)" I called out and noticed my mom holding a broom. Her (e/c) eyes widened out of shock as she let go of the broom, letting it fall to the floor with a thump.
"(Y-Y/N)?" She whispered before pulling me into a tight hug. I squirmed a little from not seeing my mom for a long time.
"H-Hi Mom" I answered back feeling her hug starting my bones close to being crushed.
"Where did you go?! Are you hurt? Do you know what happened?!" She frantically asked while I tried my best to calm her down.
'There no way I could tell her I was in an animated world. She already doesn't like me watching Naruto 24/7' I thought and gave her my most sincerest smile.
"I'm sorry to have worried you mom...How long was I gone?" I asked looking into her lit (e/c) eyes.
"You've been missing since January! It's already June. You're school has already let out their student a couple of days ago" She said and I quietly sighed in relief.
"Are you hungry? Let me go make you something to eat!" She said and didn't give me enough time to reply as she was already scurrying downstairs. I watched as her figure disappeared and then turned back to my room.
"Sorry mom, but I wanna look for my necklace.." I mumbled to myself as I continued my search. After five minutes I groaned from frustration. "Where is the damn thing?!"
"Honey, is everything alright?" My mom asked walking into my room. I hopped up from my crouched position and gave her a somewhat nice smile.
"Yes, mom. I was just looking for my special heart necklace that I can't seem to find" I told her and she looked at me, tilting her head.
"Special..Heart necklace?"
"Nevermind...Is the food ready?" I asked and she nodded. I ran downstairs and began eating the warm plate of food.
"When your done eating, do you mind going into my room and grabbing my laptop" My mom asked as she grabbed the book she was in the middle of reading.
"Sure Mom!" I replied finishing the plate of food before putting it in the sink and walking upstairs. I opened her door and walked inside to gather my mom's laptop. I walked downstairs and handed the laptop to my mom.
"Thank you sweetie" She said opening it up. I just stood there awkwardly staring at her before going to grab my shoes.
"I'm going for a walk" I told my mom and she looked at me like I grew two heads.
"Are you sure sweetie?"
"I'll be fine, mom. I promise to come home safely" I reassured her and she seemed to still be hesitate before sighing.
"Okay, I trust you. Don't be out too late" She said before going back to typing on her laptop. I grabbed my phone and walked out of the house. The warm rays of sun shined down on me and I sighed.
"I guess my Naruto life was just temporarily..." I mumbled and sulking made my way down the street. Everything seemed to look the same from when I left.
