I woke up and left my house early. I'm not typically a morning person, but the 3rd hokage asked me to come by his office before the academy started. As I walked down the hall, I yawned feeling tired. I knocked on the door and the hokage gave me permission to enter. I opened the door and walked in, closing the door behind me.
"(Y/N), good job passing the final test in the academy" He congratulated me and I smiled. He then placed the papers in his hand down on the desk and stood up, walking over to me.
"Do you know your chakra nature?" He randomly asked and I stood there thinking for a second before shaking my head no. He grabbed something off his desk and held it out for me. I took it from his hands and stared at it. It was a small piece of white paper.
"This piece of paper is made from a special tree that reacts to chakra nature. When you apply your chakra too the paper it will either: Turn to ash if you have fire, Split in half if you have wind, Wrinkle if you have lightning, Turn to dirt and crumbled if you have Earth, or Turn damp if you have Water" He explained and I nodded. I closed my eyes and began applying while concentration. My fingers began feeling damp and I opened my eyes. They soon widened and let go of the paper as I saw half of the paper covered in blood.
"Well this is interesting..." The 3rd hokage seemed to mumble as he picked up the piece of paper. "It seems you have Earth style and some other jutsu. I'll have some ANBU research it more, but in the mean time only do earth jutsus" He continued as he placed the half bloody and half crumpled paper on his desk. He dismissed me and I left his office. I felt my head throb with pain as I walked down the street in a hurry. The air suddenly smelled like...medicine. I laid my back against the wall and clenched my head feeling the pain get worse. My vision slowly faded to nothing.
~Time Skip~
I slowly opened my eyes and noticed I was in an empty academy.
'I thought I was in the streets when I...passed out" I thought, looking around until my eyes landed on...Sasuke. I stood up, grabbing the side of a desk as my legs felt numb. I turned my head to the clock and saw it was 7:10 am.
'I was out for 30 minutes' I screamed in my head and then my stomach growled...loudly. I blushed in embarrassment and Sasuke turned his head to me. I froze and hung my head as I quickly tried to get to my seat without bumping into anything. I mentally cursed my stomach for growling that loudly and catching Sasuke's attention. I didn't want to deal with him after what happened yesterday. I laid my head on my knees and waited as the time past slowly. Two minutes later, I felt as if someone was watching me. I kept my head down knowing Sasuke was the only one in the room.
"Hey" I heard his voice call out..a bit too close. I brought my head up, only to see him right next my desk. I looked down at his hands and saw he was holding a apple and my sketchbook. "This is yours" He said holding out my sketchbook which I quickly took. I waited for him to go, but he just seemed to stay there watching me. I began to feel uncomfortable until he also held out the apple. I looked up at him and he looked away, his cheeks a bit pink. I took it and he walked away. At the same time Naruto walked in.
Naruto's POV
I entered the academy feeling happy. I watched as Sasuke walked away from (Y/N), and glared at him. I walked over to her and smiled.
"Hey (Y/N)!!" I yelled and she looked at me smiling.
"Hey Naruto" She said taking a bit of the apple she had in her hand. I grinned and pointed to my headband.
"I did it, I became a ninja!" I told her happily and her mouth turned into a big smile.
"That's Great!!" She told me hugging me and I felt someone looking at me. I looked up and saw it was Sasuke. I smirked and wrapped my arms around her, enjoying her scent.
(Y/N)'s POV
The day at the academy has begun and Iruka-sensei still hasn't come. I laid my hand on my cheek, bored that there was no one interesting to talk to around me. I glanced over at Naruto and saw he was talking to a frowning Shikamaru. I smiled and the loud bang of a door gave me a startled.
'Oh no..' I thought looking at the entrance and saw Sakura and Ino panting.
"I win billboard brow!" Ino smirked at her and Sakura glared.
"No Way Ino-Pig, my foot was an inch farther than yours" Sakura and Ino glared at each starting their normal fights. I tuned them out and looked back to Naruto. He was gone from his seat and on the desk in front of Sasuke. I watched as the guy in front of Naruto bumped his elbow into Naruto and he leaned forward. I covered my mouth trying not to burst out laughing as the two kissed.
~Time Skip~
Naruto laid on the desk after getting beat up by the angry fangirls. I stood up to cheer him up when Iruka-sensei came in.
"Quiet Down Everyone. All of you are here today because you passed the academy, congratulations! You'll be put into a 3 man squad" Iruka said and then started announcing the teams.
"Squad 7, Naruto...Sakura Haruno...Sasuke Uchiha" Naruto stood up upset and pointed at Sasuke.
"Iruka-sensei, why do I have to be with him?!?" Naruto whined and Iruka pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Well Naruto, I had to pair up the best with the worst. Sasuke has the highest grades in the academy while you have...well the worst" Iruka explained to Naruto before continuing to call out the rest of the names. Once he was finished everyone left for lunch.
'He didn't call my name...' I thought standing up and walking up to Iruka who had his back to me.
"Iruka-sensei? I wanted to know what team I'm on since you didn't call my name" I told him and he turned around.
"Ah, (Y/N) I forgot to tell you. The hokage requested that I put you on Squad 7 since you already know the sensei, Kakashi Hatake." Iruka said and I nodded.
"Thank you Sensei" I told him and walked around. I looked around for a place to eat and saw Sasuke by the window. I walked up to him and tapped his shoulder. He turned around with a rice ball in his hand.
"Hey Sasuke, Can I eat with you?" I asked him and he simply nodded, going back to looking at the clouds as he ate.
~Time Skip~
After some time of trying to have a conversation with Sasuke when Naruto came through the window. My food fell to the floor and Naruto tied me. I tried to scream at him, but he put tape on my mouth. He transformed into Sasuke and sneaked out the window. My screams were muffled by the tape and I wiggled my body to look at Sasuke. In his place there was a tied up log. I felt the rope loosen up and I slipped out of it. I turned to Sasuke as he held a kunai.
"Let's go find Naruto" Sasuke said and I followed him out the building. As we were searching outside, we heard a high pitchy voice.
"Sasuke!!!" We turned around and there was Sakura.
"Sasuke, are you ready for our kiss yet?" She asked clasping her hands together and moved her body side to side. She looked over to me and glared.
"Where is Naruto?" He asked ignoring everything she said.
"Changing the subject again? Forget about Naruto. All he does is pick fights with you. It's probably because he had an irregular childhood." Sakura said and Sasuke mood grew darker. "He's always doing selfish things. If you have no parents than yo-"
"Sakura just stop talking!" I accidentally yelled out and she looked at me.
"Your the same as Naruto!" She yelled and I glared at her. I took a step closer till Sasuke grabbed my wrist.
"Sasuke...What's the matter?" Sakura asked putting on her innocent face.
"Your annoying" Sasuke said turning around and started pulling me away.
Naruto's POV
"Damn it finally stopped." I told myself cleaning my butt. I left the bathroom and walked down the hall when I saw Sasuke up ahead holding onto (Y/N)'s wrist.
"Why are you here?!" I yelled and Sasuke sucked his teeth.
"Cheap trick. What were you planning to do by transforming into me?" Sasuke asked and I frowned.
"I did it because it seemed like fun" I said not wanting (Y/N) finding out the real reason. I jumped up and made a couple shadow clones. "I'm going to show you that I'm really great by defeating you! Prepare Yourself!" I yelled and then heard my stomach acting up.
"Not...Again...Bathroom!!!" I ran with my clones to the door of bathroom. We began fighting on who would go in first.
(Y/N)'s POV
I watched and sweat dropped as Naruto fought with his clones for entry to the bathroom.
"How stupid..." Sasuke mumbled and I looked at him. I then looked down at my wrist because he was still holding it.
"Come on" He said and I felt him dragging me again.
"Where are we going now?" I asked him.
"We have to go back to the classroom to meet the senseis"
