CHAP 5: Jealousy

SHAWN's POV

What just happened earlier? Well Camila was about to fall and I saved her from falling. (lol im such a savior) When the first I met her, I've known that she was so clumsy. 5 years ago, There was this time when we were playing soccer at the sports park and she accidentally fell and she got wound in her knee. Even when we're just walking at the park, she was keep on tripping. Yes, she's the queen of clumsiness. I always laugh at her everytime I see her clumsiness. But besides with that, I don't want to see my princess hurt. I can't see her like that. Even it's just a small thing. You know when we were kids, I accidentally threw my ball to her head. I was so guilty at that time. From then when we became bestfriends, I promised to myself, I will never hurt her. I will never hurt her in physically or even in emotionally. I will always save her and will make her happy. And from what just happened a while ago was just so new. I didn't laugh at her. Instead, when she was about to fall, I quickly got my arms around her waist. Our faces was just about inches away with each other. Yes, I felt those sparks when I held her in my arms. So much happiness was on me knowing that I was there to save her. I saved her. My eyes locked in her chocolate brown eyes. Oh I love that eyes and I just couldn't resist it. I couldn't resist her. I am just 15 years old and I feel this way to her. I don't know what's happening but I don't want to risk our 5 years of friendship. And maybe, she will not like me. There are so many guys around him that she would have probably like. I am just her bestfriend.

And now, I am just staring at her while she is eating her meal. We are here in the cafeteria, eating our lunch and spending our free time together before we head back through our classes.

"What?" Camila asked, still eating her meal.

"You're so funny when you eat like that" I said laughing at her.

"What's funny with this huh?" she rolled her eyes, continuing to finish her sandwich that we bought a while ago. She's like cookie monster when she's eating. And I just laughed again.

"You look like cookie monster" I stucked my tongue out.

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" Camila said while her mouth is full. She tackled me in my seat and punched me slightly everywhere in my body. We were laughing at our silliness when suddenly, someone came.

"Excuse me? Is there anyone who is sitting here? I was trying to find seat, but i think all of the seats here in cafeteria was occupied" A dark brown haired guy said while he was holding his food tray.

"Oh, okay. I think because its lunch time. Cmon you can seat there." Camila flashed a smile to him.

"Thankyou sweetie" the guy said while taking his seat in front of us. Camila decided to sit beside me. I suddenly felt a little bit of jealousy. Ugh who is this man? I can see that Camila's blushing.

"Camila, let's go to the library. I have something to do" I said ignoring the guy.

"When did you learn to go to the library? and besides we're already done with our homeworks" Ugh. Camila please

"Oh, nothing I will just going to read a math book because you know, we have seatwork later" I said. Here i am again opening about my not so true 'advance reading'

"Here, I have some math book here. You want?" She said offering her math book.

"No I am fine" I said.

"You look so different today" she rolled her eyes.

"Hey, you're new here?!" Camila asked to the guy in front of us.

"Yeah, I am from Chicago. We just moved here a week ago" The guy smiled at Camila. Ugh! I really hate this!!!

"Ohhhh, so you just transferred here recently?" Camila asked him again.

"Ofcourse Camila. He said a while ago that he just moved here." I sarcastically said.

"I am asking him. Not you" She rolled her eyes again. Ouch

"Yes, I just transferred here just today. And I am a little bit nervous because my first class is today after this lunch break." he said to Camila. Fine whatever you say bro

I just kept silent while they were talking. I was just drinking my milkshake while listening to their "fun" conversation.

"Oh I see. By the way, I am Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao" She offered her hand for a hand shake. Oh no, the guy will touch her hand. It breaks my heart though.

"That's so long name. I am Cameron Alexander Dallas. Just call me Cam" he laughed and took her hand for a hand shake.

"And by the way, This is my bestfriend, Shawn Peter Raul Mendes. Just ignore him today. I think he's not in the mood" She pointed at me while she did the irritated face.

"Hey man what's up" I let my hand for a high five. I fake smiled though.

"I am good man." he high fived me.

*Riiiiiiiiiing* the school bell rang. It means that the lunch break/ snack break time is done.

"Let's go Shawny. See you later Cam" she smiled again to him.

We walked out from the cafeteria and I still just kept silent to her.

"What's wrong Shawn? When Cam came out, you began to be like that." Camila was a little bit angry to me.

"Nothing. I have a massive headache today. I am not feeling well." I lied.

"You liar, I know when you lie. So what's wrong?" I can feel she's irritated.

"I said nothing!" I slighlty answered her with a high tone. I didn't mean it.

"Are you jealous?!" she angrily asked. Oh how did she find out?

"Of course not. Why would I be jealous? By the way, I'll be just getting my book in the locker. See you at Math Class." I said turning my back to her. I felt a little guilt when I did that. This was the first time that I'll be going to class alone.

She just walked out and went to the Girls' restroom. Yep, she's irritated at me. What have I done.

Is it because of my Jealousy?
