CAMILA's POV
Its been a day since we got here in Toronto. And guess what? I met Shawn. The guy near from our house. He seems so nice even though his clumsiness hit me. I already forgave him for what he have done. It's alright for me, because I don't wanna be rude. And besides, I just want to make some friends. See? his clumsiness brought us close together just so quickly. And by the way, Shawn agreed that we should hang out together and he will tour me in this village. This is gonna be fun!
*dingdong* the doorbell rang as my mom yelled
"MILAAAA YOU HAVE SOME GUEST HERE"
"OKAY MUM JUST WAIT" I quickly ran down from the stairs and saw Shawn in our 'new' living room talking to my mom. Awe
"Yes, I just met her yesterday. I thought she was so annoyin-" I cut him off and punched him hard on his shoulder.
"HEY! I AM NOT ANNOYING!" I pouted as he and my mom laughed together. I sat down in the couch beside him
"Okay, So kids don't go home late huh? Shawn keep your eyes on Camila. Alright? Just come back here when you kids got hungry. I'll make some snacks. Nice to meet you sweetie" As he kissed shawn on his cheek. Ew
"Nice to meet you too Mrs. Cabello" OMG THEY'VE GOTTEN SO CLOSE JUST LIKE THAT? WOAH
"Stop there! I don't want you to be my brother" I playfully said
"Ouch" Shawn said as he put his hand on his chest like his heart is aching
We laughed together and soon we both got up from the couch and went outside. This is more gonna be fun though

After hours that he toured me, We became a bit tired and we decided to go to park nearby our house. It was really fun though! We roamed around in our village. We went to the sports park when you can play basketball, soccer, volleyball and every sport that you want. He also showed me a museum house where you can find different amazing artworks. (a/n: This is really weird but let's just imagine that the village has a lot of amazing places lol) We also went to some food shop. And guess what? that shop has a lot of sweets!!! while we were roaming around, he also told me some stories. There was like a haunted house and he really thought that house has a lot of ghosts. It was really creepy because while he was telling the story, We just passed by into that haunted house. We both ran and screamed. We both scaring each other haha. And for me, it was really fun. Even though you can see in his face that he was really afraid of ghosts. LOL
And lastly, he showed me his secret hiding place. He told me that he always go there whenever he feels so upset. He found that place when he was 8. And he said that place was a great spot to scream all your thoughts in mind. He was just so young, yet he's really awesome.
"HEY MILA!!!" I was snapped out with my thoughts when he shouted and punched me
"HEY WHAT WAS THAT FOR!!!" I glared at him
"I am hungry!!!! CAN WE GO BACK TO YOUR HOUSE? YOUR MOM IS WAITING FOR US" He joyfully said
"Oh jeez!! Yeahright! Let's go" I said
He was about to run when I punched him in his arm
"Hey!!! Don't run. It's really tiring when we have to run AGAIN. And my house is just there. Walk slowly Shawn!" I said. Yes, It's true though. It's really very tiring. I am not saying that I didn't had fun in our small tour but I am really having a hard time to breathe when I always run. They said that, I had an asthma when I was a kid. So yeah, that's the reason why I always walk slowly.
"So? I am hungry!!! hm wait I have an idea" He said as he picked me up into the bridal style but he failed and we both laughed. I just hopped on his back and he ran so fast
"MOM HERE WE GOOOOOOO!" I shouted as I was doing the superman pose while he ran.
We both laugh in his silliness. And as we reached our house, something came up to my mind
"Shawn?"
"Yes Mila?"
"Can we be bestfriends?" I happily said
"Aren't we look like bestfriends now?" he curiously asked while scratching his head
"I am just making sure..." Yes, that's true because I really want to have a bestfriend. Back in Miami, I barely got friends because I was bullied. Plus, he's so nice to me since the day we met (yesterday) Even though, I just got a bit rude to him for what he have done.
"Of course Mila!" He shooked my head as he went inside of my house
"WE'RE NOW BESTFRIENDS!!!!" I screamed as I tackled him inside
