When I see you play your songs,
In your tunes, I always get drowned,
When I hear you sing your heart out,
The depth of emotions leaves me spell-bound.
Happy and content you always look while singing,
There seems to be no struggle you faced,
I feel like no one stopped you at all,
Your dreams with love & support you chased.
Fans cheer as you sing and play,
Lucky you are, while I am not,
Getting all you wanted, you won,
Here, for my dream, I struggled and fought.
My future in ruins they see, they said,
Instruments would prove futile for me,
Building, arguing or checking patients,
The best, they knew, professional course would be.
Several trials took place, I explained,
Making them proud?
I could do, I knew,
But, dreams theirs I had to fulfill,
Believing me was the last thing they'd do.
Hitting the last chord of age,
Pressure on me, made me give in,
Now I'm an engineer building things,
Wishing I fought more & sulking within.
Lyrics you sung boosted my confidence,
The supressed dream was revived, born again,
In your place, on that stage & Singing,
Cheers just for me, no regrets, no complain.

When the society pushes you back, take a break. Show them you are doing what they want you to but, get back to your dream the first chance you get.
Dreams never die! They can be revived at any time.
