My brother, Jaune, and I leaned against the lockers. "I just don't see why people don't see us." He said as his head hung down. "Just get over it, they'll see us one day, and they'll regret everything," I said shoving him gently. "Well hello..." He mumbled getting his footing back. "Why...What's u...? Woah." I muttered.
A group of 6 or 7 girls and a single boy walked into the school, a group neither of us had seen. "Isn't that Weiss Schnee and her girlfriend, Ruby Rose?" I asked Jaune who was starstruck by the girl with red hair. But the two people who'd caught my eye was a firey blone and a girl with golden eyes and a pretty black bow.
"Damn." Jaune and I said. "Hey losers!" I heard the bully of the school, aka: Cardin, yell. "Pft." He said looking where my brother and I were looking. "Huh, new bees, well listen here losers, their me and my crews, so don't you try." He said smacking us once on the head. "Why? Why don't you just kick his ass?!" Jaune asked furious.
"Jaune, it was a mistake what I did all those months ago." I was cut off by the group of girls and that one guy came towards us. "Hey, what's that guys deal?" The one I was assuming to be, Ruby Rose, spoke. "Oh he does that to everyone." Jaune explained with a little frustration. "Just because it's what they do doesn't mean you should tolerate it." The girl with red hair said helped the blonde up.
"I'm Y/n Arc, and this is my brother, Jaune Arc." I shook her hand, she smiled warmly. "Pyrrah," The one I assumed to be Ruby and Weiss spoke. "I'm Weiss Schnee and this is Ruby Rose, my girlfriend" I elbowed Jaune and whispered "I told you so," Ruby chuckled at our behavior. The only boy was named Ren and was dating the bubbly girls name was Nora. But when the woman in black and the blonde spoke, I lost all train of thought. "Hellooo~?" The blonde said. "He-Hey, I'm Y/n Arc. Nice to meet you," I signaled Jaune for help but her was wrapped up in the pretty red-head.
"It's Yang, and this here is Blake," She pointed out the bowed girl. She smiled at me gently, and just then the bell rung. "See you later Y/n!" Ruby yelled happily, being dragged away by Weiss. "See you later~!" Yelled by Nora and a hardly heard 'bye' from Ren. "See you Y/n, Jaune," Pyrrah said looking at my younger brother. "Show me around?" Jaune agreed in a heartbeat. "Sorry Y/n, I-I'm coming Pyrrah!"
"See you later big girl" Yang said tracing my chin. "Y-Yeah, bye..." I stuttered out. "I'll see you later, Y/n..." Blake said, oh so sudductively. "Pf-Pftt, yeah, see you," They walked away giggling looking back at me, smirking. "...Later..." I groaned loudly. "Stupid,"
"Oh, it's good that you know," And of course, leaning up against his locker, Cardin. "Do you always creep up on me Cardin?" I asked walking away. "Pft, please you homo, leave the pretty girls to us, alright?" He bumbed me out of the way. "Ugh," I picked up my books trying to recollect myself. 'I won't let you have them...'
~~~TIMESKIP~~~
It wasn't long till Jaune and I became close with Ruby and her other friends. Jaune bacame close with Pyrrah and of course I didn't become close with either Blake or Yang. I became close with Ruby and we were on our traditional Saturday run and coffee.
"So it's almost the school dance, any plans?" Ruby asked me, trying to catch her breath. "Mmm, I might not go," Ruby looked up at me questioningly. "B-B-But, Blake and Yang, and-!"
"Look, Rubes, I don't stand a chance against Cardin, or anyone else for that matter." I sighed again as I drank my coffee. "Well if you had a choice, who'd you choose?" The younger girl asked me. "I don't know," I bit my thumb in annoyance. "I can't choose between either of them." I sighed rubbing my temples in annoyance. "Well, why not date them both?" My eyes widened.
"RUBY HAVE YOU GONE BAD SHIT INSANE?" I yelled getting half of the café's attention. "Well, it's a sin for sure..." Ruby said thinking, I shlumped in my seat. "But you can't stop yourself from feeling things." I glanced up, 'that has to be the only logical thing Ruby's said all morning'
I sighed and thought for a moment. "I guess it would be worth a shot." I smiled at Ruby. "Yaaaay~!" Then Ruby's phone rang. She looked at her phone. "Oh, do you mind if I head out, Weiss has this thing where we look for dresses for the school dance." I laughed lightly. "Good luck looking for a dress for miss perfect." Ruby pointed her finger at me playfully. "No, that's my princess."
We laughed heartily. "Okay, see you later, Rubes," Ruby soon walked out the café. I sipped my coffee while looking out the window. Then, I saw Blake and Yang trying to run away from someone; soon following them, Cardin and the rest of his squad. I ran out the café immidiately. "Leave us alone you fucking bastards!" I heard Yang screech. "Just let us have our way with you!" Cardin forced; I flinched, not in fear but in anger.
"CARDIN." I yelled getting all of their attention. "Ugh, you won't stop will you homo? Get her will you!" Everyone of them didn't want to because of a certain event from a few months ago. "Do you really want to...?" I frowned. "Gh, the stupid bitches aren't worth it boss," Cardin yelled in frustration. "You girls, Y/n!" He ran towards me, moving gently to the right, loosing his balance, I kicked his shins with a low roundhouse kick, finishing it with elbowing the back of his head. "Damnit, 4 months and I still can't beat your homo ass?!"
I pulled him up keeping him at eye level to me. "What was that Cardin?" I whispered. "Gh, let me go, we'll stay out of your way Y/n." I threw him onto the ground. "Are you all waiting for your punk asses to be beat?" I looked behind me,they ran off. "Wow,just wow...Thanks Y/n..." Blake looked at me with a light blush. "You, you beat his ass like it was nothing~!" Yang cheered. "Haha, yeah," Blake whispered something to Yang and, and Yang smirked. "Wanna go out with us this weekend, after the dance, Y/n?" Yang asked,I nodded frantically.Yang and Blake laughed gently, as Blake passed me, she pecked my lips ever so lightly. "See you later, Y/n..." She practically purred, and Yang roughly pulled me in. "Bye Y/n~!" She waved happily.
I whispered to myself when they left. "Damn."
