~~~Y/n's POV~~~
As I entered the grand palace I felt extremely excited as I'd heard of the grand library that lay inside of the structure. When I arrived within the library, a grin spread across my face. Just then a beautiful woman started to walk towards me.
"Hello, my name is Belle. I don't think I've ever seen you around before." She smiled at me with kind eyes. "You aren't wrong, the names Y/n L/n." I smiled at her. "So what brings you here?" She asked bringing her arms behind her. "Well I heard about the library in the grand palace so-" she cut me off with a huge smile. "You want to learn how do read, Y/n~!"
I shook my head and waved my hands. "Belle I'm perfectly cable of reading. I just heard of the library from the towns people and I just..." I paused to smile and adore the books on the shelves just waiting to be explored. "...I wanted to see if my dream library was real." When I looked at Belle, she was absolutely shocked.
"Is it really that odd that I love books more than anything?" I asked crossing my arms with a small smile. "N-No it's not that, I'm just surprised. No one has ever felt the same as I do for this room." I chuckled at the statement. "They are truly fools..." Belle smiled and pulled me over to one of the shelves and started rambling on about a certain book. I then knew that this girl would make my heart soar.
~~~TIME SKIP~~~
After a few months of getting to know Belle, I'd known I'd loved her, she was more than just the pretty face I'd seen wherever I went. She wanted more than what others wanted me for, and I loved that about her.
For a few months I'd dropped hints of liking her but she never noticed. At least I don't think she did. I'd strutted my way into the library and smiled seeing Belle with her nose buried in a book. I covered her eyes and whispered into her ear. "Hello love." She giggled and turned around to face me. "Hello y/n, where have you been sneaking off to?"
"Around the town looking for a project." The brunette looked at me questionably. "I've been bored, and I need something to pass the time" I explained. She pouted faking sadness "Bored of me already, miss l/n?" I smiled and leaned in a little. "Not necessarily," I pressed my lips to hers but she pushed me away. "What was that y/n?" A little part of me froze on the inside. "Aren't we just friends?" And in that instance I regretted it. "Sorry, I got caught in the moment I guess...I've gotta go though, I have some work to do. Bye Belle." I gave her no chance to answer and walked to the doors and left.
~~~TIME SKIP. BELLE'S POV~~~
Its been a few months since I'd seen Y/n walk the halls. And now I see her again, but with some woman who giggles at every one of y/n's words. Y/n reads to her and the woman and looks up to meet my eyes, but as I wave she looks back down at the book. When she'd kissed me that day, I was just afraid of what people would say about us. I'd just moved passed the looks of being literate, I couldn't go through that again so soon.
I walked towards y/n and the woman she was with when the woman pecked y/n's lips while looking directly at me with a huge smirk. Anger rushed through my veins and I walked quicker the the pair and pulled y/n up and dragged her off.
"What the hell Belle?" The h/c asked frustrated. "I..." I trailed off realizing how jealous I was. I looked into her e/c eyes and got lost. "I don't know, okay? I've been confused with myself since we first met-!" She cut me off angrily "then why the hell did you push me away the first time I kissed you?" We were inches apart and I could feel the sexual tension from a mile away.
"I was afraid okay? I was tired of being the odd girl in the crowd and before you came I was normal for once. Then you came and I fell in love you you!" I covered my mouth at the realization of what I'd said. Y/n looked at me with loving and soft eyes.
I let my head down and looked at the floor not moving my gaze. I felt her hand graze the skin of my chin and she pulled it up to make me look at her. I felt my face heat up. The h/c lifted her other hand to hold my cheek. Y/n glanced at my lips and then back into my eyes as if asking for permission and I then closed the gap between us. I ran my hands into her h/l hair and tangled my fingers in them.
When we pulled away, our eyes stayed closed and we had stayed in that position until Y/n connected our lips once again and smiled into the kiss. We pulled away and I finally opened my eyes and saw Y/n smiling down at me. "I love you, Belle." Y/n said as she caressed my cheek. "I love you too, y/n." I said as I brushed her hair. "Hey, should we be worried about that girl in the library?" I asked.
"Nah, she's a friend of my sister who happened to visit the town and we put on a little play to make you jealous." I backed up crossing my arms with an amused grin on my face. "You planned all this?" Y/n nodded with a content grin on her face. "I knew you'd get jealous eventually, next time don't tell Chip your secret." She said pecking my lips. "Chip told you," Y/n nodded again with a huge smile on her face. "I hate you." I joked. "I love you too, Belle." She said kissing me again.
