The River- Blues Saraceno

When the pair reached the dropship, the found Murphy with a plastic bag on top of Myles face. "He stopped breathing. I was..." Murphy began.

"Trying to save him. Yeah, we get it." Avery finished for him before spotting a gun in the corner. They both leapt towards it, Av completely forgetting about the gun in my trousers. Murphy had it in his hands, pointing it at Avery. "Murphy, just put the gun down." she told him with her hands up.

"He tried to kill me." he told her before she moved back to next to Jasper.

"We get it. We can tell Bellamy that, just please put your gun down." Avery said as she stepped forward. "You don't need to do this."

"Hey, don't move." Murphy warned and walked over to her back and lifted her shirt up to take the gun out of the hem of her jeans. She rolled her eyes before turning to Jasper and ponting her head to his trousers where his radio was.

"Ok. Ok. It's cool."

"No, it's not."

"Just let Jasper go. He can get you what you want, he's done nothing wrong." She begged but Murphy had other ideas.

"We can tell Bellamy different. He'll listen to us, me. Just put the gun down and we can sort it out and we'll all have our lives." Avery muttered, her voice laced in fear. The two had never heard her like that but Murphy planned to use it to his advantage.

"Avery? What are you saying?" Bellamy said, confused.

"Bellamy. Murphy has a gun, he killed Myles. He's got Avery and I." Jasper yelled quickly into the radio and Murphy wacked him with a piece of wood.

"You try to be a hero, Jasper and your precious girlfriend dies." Murphy said while pointing the gun at her. "Come to the drop ship."

"Avery, are you okay?" Bellamy asked

"I'm fine. He hasn't done anything to me, not yet,"

He grabbed a chair from the corner of the room and placed it in front of stool. "Sit." He ordered and then tied her to the chair.

"I tried to keep you out of this Avery, you've been nice for the past week but somehow you get into everything, and I've never forgot what you did."

"Look Murphy, I know what you want and I promise if you just stand down for a second you can understand that this isn't right. I promise if you let me go now that I'll tell Bellamy to back away from you and that will be that, he listens to be and you can use it to your advantage. You can ride unicorns into the sunset for all I care. Please, don't do this."

"This is just the start."

"I didn't do anything to you Murphy."

"You watched as they came and hanged me and when that little bitch confessed you protected her."

"You were going to kill her!" Avery exclaimed but Murphy hit her again with the butt of his gun. "A thirteen year old girl. Sure she wasn't innocent but all she wanted to do was kill her demons."

"I'm getting sick of your damn voice again, Donavon. Not so adorable now." Avery blanked out from everything. She had to find a way out. He hit her with the butt of his gun before speaking. "You're not doing your little mind palace thing. Here I make the rules, not you or your boyfriend."

"What do you want Murphy?"

"I want you to feel what I felt." He told her, crouching down. "I want you both to feel what I felt, to be tortured, to be hanged."
