Slobbery kisses, that constant thump of tail, and excited whine, you know the one low in the throat and yawning outward in a dogie yippee, at words like ball, car ride, & treat. Wet noses, even improperly placed, a hello and how do you do. Somehow the world is right with a dog. Love almost always shining in their eyes, the protector, the friend, the constant companion. Cats don't hold a candle to them. Roaming the world over they are all shapes and sizes, long haired, short, wiry, curled, or double coated. All have that lolling tongue, happy panted grin.
