It started with a goldfish won at a fair, a love of fish. Yet there is something wonderful about a betta in a bowl - one gallon please. Of course that gets upgraded, 2, 5, 10, 20, the gallons keep growing. Give him some friends, a nice little hiddy hole. I always pick for personality as well as colors that range from orange golds to deep blues and purples. Tropicana, Americano, Fred, and others whose names are forgotten lost to suicidal leaps, cat claws, disease or just time. All given last respects over toilet bowl burials. Now I have George.
