"Stop frowning" Gerald smiled at Mandy who was still upset of Jodi even if she already left awhile ago.
She didn't respond. "Why do you hate her?" He asked then sat down on the other side of the couch.
"I don't hate her. I just don't like her" She rolled her eyes.
"Why?"
"Because she gets on my nerves and she visits even if nobody tells her to and she calls you baby"
Gerald chuckled. "I get the point. You hate her"
"I don't exactly hate her. I just don't like her" She waved a hand.
"What's the difference?"
"It's like liking and loving somebody"
Gerald raised a brow. Giving Mandy a what-do-you-mean look.
"If you like somebody, you talk to them, laugh with them or anything you can do as long as you're comfortable with them. If you love someone, you have this irregular heart beat when you see them and have butterflies in your stomach, and you can't stop thinking about them, caring for them, even if you know that you two have no possibility of chance being together" She continued.
Gerald grinned. "Do I let you feel that way?"
Mandy blinked. "Whatever. I was only differentiating"
Gerald stared at her more. "You wanna go out?"
Mandy widened her eyes. "Like together?"
Gerald nodded. "I'm bored staying here. Let's go out"
Mandy smiled. "Good idea"

Mandy wore a mini floral dress with her matching sandals. Gerald on the other hand, wore a plain white shirt, with a khaki short, slippers and his vintage sunglasses.
Both were eating sundaes, sitting opposite to each other under the shade. "Wow, how wonderful to be outside" Mandy exclaimed.
"Hmmm" Gerald relaxed.
"Will we be like this if were married?"
"What do you mean? Like eating Sundaes on Sunday?" Gerald chuckled.
Mandy rolled her eyes at him. "Well, a part of it maybe. It's just that I don't know when will this last"
Gerald looked at the confused Mandy behind his glasses. He smiled. "Just focus on the present will ya"
Mandy returned a smile and put a spoonful of sundae in her mouth.
"Foxx?" They turned to the voice behind Gerald.
Mandy eyed at him. She widened her eyes. "Jake? Jake Miller right?"
The golden haired guy smiled at her. Mandy stood up. "Hey" She hugged him. "How are you?" she added.
"Well, still the same. How about you?" He flashed a smile showing his dazzling teeth.
"Good. You grown taller."
"Yeah. Well, I've been keeping fit."
"Good to hear that"
Gerald cleared his throat. Both turned their attention to him.
"Uhh, Jake this is Gerald Ryans. Gerald this is Jake Miller"
Jake smiled at Gerald. "Sup, Ryans" Gerald returned a nod. Jake turned to Mandy. "How's Nathan?" He asked.
"He's in China. Filming"
"Ohh. But, hey. I've got a beach party tonight. Right across this street. You should come" Jake invited. "Both of you" He continued.
