The garage was pitch black and darkness filled every corner. Not even the moonlight from the window was enough to light up much. How (F/N) wished she could climb to the window and run. Just runaway from everything. She buried her head in her hands again and began to sob.
Why did her brother have to hate her so much? She hadn't done anything to him. Though now she thought about it more, just her presence gave him reason to hate her.
He'd always been the bad one of the family. He got bad grades and was a,ways with the wrong crowd, or rather he was the wrong crowd itself. He was infamous throughout school for being the nastiest kid, and his parents certainly weren't proud of it. They told him of a lot and he made no signs of getting better.
But then, (F/N) came along. He had a new little sister. She was the complete opposite of him. She got good grades, was a sweet young girl and didn't hang out with the wrong crowd. So to say, she didn't hang out with many people at all unlike her brother. Once again bringing back the earlier point: they were complete opposites.
(B/N) always had a hatred for (F/N) and would make fun of her and tease her whatever chance he got. So when she started going on about 'magical creatures,' it was a great opportunity to further tease her.
Soon after (F/N) began high school, their parents died. (B/N) felt even further hatred towards his little sister and took it one step further. He started to beat her to 'calm his anger.'
This all led to the situation (F/N) was in now.
As she sobbed, she was oblivious to the creature that seemed to be lighting up the dim garage. She felt something pat her head, and she instantly shot her head up, eyes wide in fear. But instead of meeting the eyes (B/N) like she thought, she saw the Flying Mint Bunny.
It was just like when she and Arthur had first met, she was crying and the Flying Mint Bunny had pat her head. She wiped her tears and smiled at the creature, it's small body was giving off a blue glow. She patted its head and stroked its soft fur.
They were real, not imaginary.
She suddenly heard the window from above click as it was forced open further. She instantly felt relief when she saw Arthur's head poke though the window. His worried, green eyes met hers.
Part of his felt relief that she was alive, but the other part felt guilty. She wasn't okay, she was hurt, and badly. Her body was covered in cuts, not very deep but they looked painful. She wasn't in any life threatening danger but she could've been. If only he'd have arrived earlier he could of prevented it from happening in the first place.
Maybe if he'd of taken that devious look her brother had given him, or the way (F/N) acted around him on board than he could of saved her instantly. But instead he'd made his way all the way home before he began to puzzle it all out.
"(F/N)!" He exclaimed worriedly, squeezing through window. He landed with a thud and quickly ran over to (F/N). "(F/N)! Are you okay, love?!" (F/N) looked at him through hazy eyes. She felt like she was about to pass out.
"A-Arthur..?" She managed to whisper in a hoarse voice. "What a-are you doing here?" How was he here? How did he figure out where she'd be? And how'd he know she was in trouble?
"Never mind that now you're hurt!" He said hastily taking of his jacket and wrapping it around (F/N)'s shoulders, which were bloody in patches. She muttered a small thank you. "I've got to get you to a hospital.." Arthur muttered under his breath.
(F/N) felt her vision go blurry and the room began to spin from all the blood loss. Her head was spinning and she felt herself fall towards the concrete floor. But Arthur quickly caught her.
"(F/N)!? Hey! Stay awake, keep your eyes open!" Arthur shouted in a panicked tone. Her vision blurred and everything went wavy. Arthur's voice became distant.
"(F/N)------eep yo----yes ope----"
Her eyes slowly closed and Arthur's voice slowly disappeared, no longer able to be heard. Everything faded to black.
