The car ride to Alfred and Arthur's house was fine. Arthur was driving and kept quiet most the ride. Alfred was the opposite. First, he complained because he had to sit in the back of the car, Arthur let (F/N) sit at the front with him. Next, he started blabbering on about the house he and Arthur lived at together.  It was helpful for some context, but (F/N) hadn't listened to most of it. Most the time she'd gazed out the window lost in her thoughts. She watched as the road whizzed past and the clouds rolled along above her. What would happen now? What would life be like how that she was living with Alfred and Arthur?

"(F/N), love, we're here." Arthur said, unbuckling his seat belt. (F/N) snapped out of her thoughts and unbuckled her seat belt too. She gave a small hum in reply and grabbed her bag as she opened the door of the car. She didn't have anything when she'd left the hospital, not even spare clothes. The only clothes she had was her school clothes which were torn up and bloody. But before Arthur drove the three of them home, he took (F/N) to buy some clothes, claiming 'it's what a gentleman would do.'

(F/N) closed the car door behind her and gazed up at the house. It was average, to say the least. It was a detached house, as were all of the houses on the street. But it wasn't anything posh or over the top. Just a normal family home, something (F/N) always wanted. She smiled slightly as she turned back to see Arthur open the back car door where Alfred was sat. Even thought the journey was extremely long,

"Oi, idiot. Wake up, we're here." He deadpanned flicking Alfred's head. Alfred yawned and opened his eyes, rubbing away his tiredness with his sleeve. Arthur sighed as he walked back up to the front door, Alfred following close behind. He almost immediately gained an appetite  back after his long nap and had begun nibbling on a burger he'd seemingly pulled from thin air.

Arthur plucked some keys out of his pocket and inserted them into the keyhole. He opened the door and held it open for (F/N) to walk through, though of course, not for Alfred. (F/N) instantly felt at home as soon as she stepped in. It was just a strange comforting feeling that she never got back at her old house.

"How'd you like your new home dudette?" Alfred asked after swallowing a mouthful of burgers. (F/N) nodded.

"Yeah, it's nice." She smiled.

"Good, I'll show you to your room then." Arthur said, gesturing for (F/N) to follow him up the stairs. She nodded her head and followed him, the stairs creaking as born them ascended. Arthur led her to a room, which she assumed was normally a guest room. It was pretty basic, it had a bedside desk, a wardrobe and a generous sized bed with a quilt with the Union Jack on it.

"Sorry it's kind of plain, and we can probably get your things from your house when it's safe." Arthur said. "If you need anything I'll be downstairs in the kitchen."

"Thank you." The (H/C) girl smiled. "You've done so much I'm not sure how I should repay you."

"It's n-" Arthur was cut off as he felt something soft on his cheek. The realisation took a while to set in, but he soon realised what she'd just done. She'd kissed him on the cheek. As soon as he processed the thought, he felt his face go completely red.
