"Arthur dude!" The loud obnoxious voice of Alfred shouted. Though once again, he was seemingly blanked and left with no reply as Arthur was stuck deep in his thoughts. It had been about 2 weeks since (F/N) had started to live with Alfred and Arthur. And ever since then, Arthur couldn't seem to think of anything but (F/N). She was a constant topic on his mind, and he just didn't know why. Yet again, she had the ability to distract him from class, and also, fortunately, from his two 'classmates.' He was always thinking about something different each time, though the subject was always (F/N). Whether it was her looks, her personality, or her amazing ability to cook scones. Last time he was thinking about the time she'd helped him cook some scones, this time, Arthur was thinking about the time he'd saw her in the back garden with the Flying Mint Bunny and a few of the other magical creatures she'd made friends with, happily smiling as she patted them on the head and conversed with them.

"Heeeyyyyy! Black sheep of Europe!" Francis cut in. "Thinking about your girlfriend or something?" He finished his sentence with his signature laugh. Though it seems his little comment worked and Arthur instantly turned to face the two 'idiots' that were bothering him.

"Shut it frog." He instantly shot back at Francis. Though Francis only smirked in return.

"You're not denying it then, she is your girlfriend?" He laughed. Arthur's cheeks went even redder if that was even possible.

"N-No I never said that-" He began tripping over his words. "Just shut up!" He huffed facing back to the front of the classroom, unable to come up with a sufficient comeback.

"Dude, you've been acting even stranger than usual." Alfred began. "You sure you're not sick or something?" He suggested. A look of shock suddenly appeared on Arthur's face. Realisation set in.

"That's right, I must just be sick!" He said to himself. "But it's strange, whenever I go near (F/N) my cheeks go red and my heart rate skyrockets.. There's got to be something wrong with me!" He concluded. He was interrupted as he heard the laughter of his two classmates. "H-Hey, what's so funny you wankers!?" He yelled, feeling his cheeks go red yet again.

"You're so stupid, dude!" Alfred remarked. Arthur instantly frowned.

"Hmph! I'm not stupid! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!" He scowled. But then it was the Frenchman's turn to laugh.

"That, mon ami, is what's called falling in love! You're just falling in love with (F/N)!" He laughed. Arthur went even redder at the mention of the word '(F/N)' and 'love' being in the same sentence. But there was no way that was possible was there? He could possibly love her. Just because she always give him this weird yet warm feeling in his chest whenever she smiled; or because she was always there to help him with his cooking. His thoughts were betraying him. He loved seeing this happy side of her that he'd been seeing for the past couple of weeks. He loved this side of her much more than the side of her that was always sad. The girl who was always crying at the back of the side. Arthur hadn't even realised how caught up in his thoughts he was until he heard Francis' laughter.

"No comeback this time?" He said smugly. Arthur tried to think of a comeback, but for once he couldn't think of one and his mind went blank. Instead, he did something else.

"Fine, say I did love her-" He glared at both Alfred and Francis. "-only if I loved her! What would you do?" Both the American and the Frenchman looked at their friend in slight shock. Did he just ask for help? Of course, he didn't directly admit that he loved (F/N), though it was clearly obvious, but he had asked for help. Why ask for help if he didn't love her?

"You want advice from moi? Well alright then!" Francis laughed, making the urge for Arthur to whack him in the face with a textbook more and more tempting. "Why not take her on a date? A fancy restaurant perhaps? Then at the end of the meal, you can confess your undying love to h-"

"I said it wasn't like that!" Arthur cut him off, as his 'advice' was getting a bit out of hand. Alfred who had remained quiet the whole time - due to eating a pile of hamburgers - suddenly perked up.

"Dude! Why don't you just take her to a fast food place and then watch horror movies!" He said. "Hey if you do that can I join you?" He cheekily added in. Arthur scowled.

"I'll just do it myself! You two aren't any help at all!" He said slamming his hands on the desk as he stood up; ignoring his two friends as he walked out the classroom. It was currently break time and the teacher was in the staff break room probably conversing with other teachers until break was over. Some students liked to go outside but others stayed inside, Arthur and (F/N) being two of them. Currently, Arthur was in a different class then (F/N), so he quickly rechecked his memory to see what classroom she'd be in right now, and made his way to her class. He swung the door open and saw her in her normal seat at the back of the class reading a book. There was a small fairy sitting on her shoulder, playing with (F/N)'s hair as she read. (F/N) turned her head as she caught sight of Arthur. Actually, a couple of the other students turned their heads too, though it was normal for students from other classes to enter other classrooms since it was break. Arthur made his way towards (F/N)'s seat, watching as she placed her bookmark in her book and placed it on the table.

"Hey Arthur!" She beamed. Arthur was instantly caught off guard. There was that smile again. Asking (F/N) on a date would be harder than he thought, especially with the smile (F/N) was giving him.

"H-Hey (F/N)!" He stuttered out.

"So what are you doing here? Are Francis and Alfred bothering you again?" She asked innocently. Arthur scratched the back of his head, ruffling his messy blonde hair.

"Something like that.." He let out a small chuckle. "But I actually wanted to ask you a, er, a question.."

"Go ahead, what is it?" (F/N) smiled as she replied, unaware of how harder she was making this for poor Arthur.

"I was- I was just thinking maybe.." Arthur paused, feeling his cheeks heat up as (F/N) was looking at him, half expectingly and half confused. Finally, he took a deep breath. "I was just wondering if maybe you'd like to go out somewhere tonight?" He said all in one breath. (F/N) looked at him blankly before realisation set in. Her eyes widened a fraction and her cheeks went red, though not as red as Arthur's. He didn't call it a date, but it might as well be one. He was looking at her waiting for an answer, almost dying of anticipation. Of course, (F/N) wasn't going to say no, she'd never say no. But it actually made her think about her feelings towards him. She liked him, no she loved him. The man who saved her, the man who could see things just like her. She felt he was the only person who understood her. But did this mean he felt the same way? Really, there was only one way to find out. She gave him the biggest smile she could muster.

"Okay!"
