Ash's POV

My mom and Serena went out to go shopping. Why? Well, turns out Serena only has one clothing and the one I saw earlier was it. I'm not complaining or anything, but honestly she looks like a vocaloid or an anime character.

While I wait for them, I was watching some movie about about a boy wishing on a star to see his lover once again. Talk about coincidence right? Ok, I'm still bummed about my first kiss getting interrupted. Hey, on the bright side I have a girlfriend now right? She did say for 40 days though, I wonder why? I'll ask her about it later.

Hmm, I wonder what they're doing right now?

Serena's POV

"Huh?" I looked around from the feeling of someone talking or thinking about me. "Is everything okay?" Mrs. Ketchum asked, I looked back at her and nod in reply. She smiled at me and continued to look at different clothes that I did not want.

I wonder who that person was? And why is that person thinking about me? Probably Ash, I'll ask him later.

Wonder what he's doing right now?

Ash's POV

"Was someone talking about me awhile ago?" I asked myself "Nah, probably just my imagination" I said to myself, I really need to stop talking to myself.

I continued to watch TV and after 4 hours they finally came back. Serena looked tired while mom looked happy, I'm guess she bought those clothes for herself not for Serena.

I checked the bags that Serena was carrying, I can't believe she managed to carry 20 heavy bags! No wonder why she looks as if she went through hell!

"Oh my Ashy! Can't wait for you to see all these clothes I bought for your girlfriend!" My mom squealed in delight while Serena looked at her in confusion. Yep, she bought these clothes for her.

I walked up to Serena and grabbed the bags from her and placed them down on the sofa. Serena fell on her knees groaning from exhaustion, seriously mom..if you keep on doing this before 40 days she might be gone.

"Are you okay?" I asked "Yeah, your mom just really love to shop that's all" she laughed as her eye twitched "Well, it's not really too often or even ordinary for my mom to go shopping with another teenager that wasn't me" I pointed out "I know, but it makes me happy to see your mother smile. You're lucky to have a mom like her Ash" she uttered and smiled at my mom who was looking at the clothes they bought.

"Yeah...." I smiled at her, she turned her gaze to me and our eyes met. We both leaned in closer and we were about to kiss until-

"Oh Serena! You will love this clo-WERE YOU TWO GONNA KISS WITHOUT ME KNOWING?!" I groaned from embarrassment while Serena giggled.

"Anyway, what do you javelin in mind Mrs. Ketchum?" Serena asked politely "Oh just call me mom!" My mom stated, seriously..your gonna be the reason she will be gone before the 40 days limit...

"Ok Mr-I mean mom, what do you have in mind?" My mom handed a pair of clothing for her to try and Serena went up to the guest room that was never been used until today.

"She's a keeper Ash" my mom nudge my arm with a smirk "Geez, cut it out mom. Remember, she will only be my girlfriend for 40 days" I pointed out "About that, do you know why 40 days?" Mom asked " No, but I'm planning on asking tomorrow" I replied "Whatever that reason may be, I wish it was never real" Mom mumbled "Why?" I asked "I never saw a girl that would look at you with care like she does, I don't want that to go" I looked away from my mom and my gaze landed outside of the window.

"Well, we can't stop that. Maybe, it's a rule for them to follow" I uttered "Actually, it isn't a rule" We both turned to look at Serena who was wearing an entirely different outfit, she looked even more like an anime girl!

"What do you mean?" I asked "You see, I'm a fairy like creature that was born out of stardust by being mixed by the galaxy. The Galaxy is kinda like my boss, they decided my faith and they told me 40 days before my limit, but in my case. If you managed to fall in live with me before 40 days, I will stay here forever. But if things don't go right and 40 days is up, goodbye Ash" Serena explained with a simple smile plastered on her face.

"So, if I fall in love with you? What about you? Shouldn't you also fall in love with me?" I asked, Serena looked at me and sighed. She walked up to me and placed both of her hands on my cheeks and I met her eyes again.

"Remember, I have been watching you since I was a baby Ash. I am already in love with you" She then hugged me and ruffled my hair.

I couldn't feel any pain from the insults from school. I could only feel warmth and care, was this coming from her? I closed my eyes to embrace the warmth from this hug, but unfortunately she pulled back with a tear rolling down her cheek. I brushed it off and smiled at her.

"Well, we should sleep now. After all, we have school tomorrow" Wait, what?
