What should I wear? I want to make a good impression for my first day, but I don't want to come off like I'm trying too hard. Chandler's better at this stuff than me. I would call and ask for help, but I know she's busy. Looks like you need to deal Arya.
I decided on my dark jeans and a white tank top, with a light blue button up. I rolled up the sleeves, and left the buttons undone to give it a carefree look. This should do.
I decided to leave my hair down, letting my long blonde hair cascade down my back. I was lucky. It was naturally very straight, with the slightest wave here and there. I never wore makeup, only mascara every now and agin, so I decided to apply some since it's the first day.
I pulled on my sandals and grabbed my bag. I took one last look in the mirror and decided that I looked decent enough.

I pulled up to the cafe, and decided to get a cup of coffee. I realized then that there was a chance I could run into August. Shit.
With sweaty palms I approached the lady at the counter and told her my drink order.
I will say he wasn't wrong about the white mocha.
With luck on my side today, I didn't run into him.
Maybe today would be a good day after all.

9:00. Shit. I was 15 minutes late. Fuck Arya. Good job.
I should have familiarized myself with the campus before hand. Why are you such and idiot Arya? Maybe because you let random strangers touch you, and make you look like an idiot. Stop it Arya, he wanted it too. Apparently not. Fuck. Calm down Arya.
Ah ha. Found it. Hopefully no one will notice me.
As fate would have it, the heavy door made a loud creaking noise. Of fucking course. I kept my head down and made my way to a seat near the back. I avoided all eye contact. How embarrassing.
"Well. Welcome to class. Glad you could make it. You're just in time for introductions."
I would have been embarrassed by the sarcasm that laced his voice, but I froze because I knew that voice. There's no way. There is no fucking way this is happening right now.
"Hello? Are you deaf, or are you just as bad at listening as you are getting to class on time."
Excuse me? How dare he try and humiliate me. I'll give him something to be smug about. I turned around with confidence coursing through me. I'll put him in his place.
August stood there staring at me like I had two heads. His mouth slightly agape. Shock was evident on his face. I found this to be the perfect time to speak.
"Sorry sir. I had a hard time finding the classroom. It won't happen again." With that I took a seat.
He cleared his throat.
"Anyways. As I was saying before our interruption..." He chose this moment to look at me. He shook his head slightly as if to wake up from a dream.
"My name is August Fraser, and I will be your English professor for the semester. If you choose to continue on with this course, you'll have me the whole year. Now I figure you've all been bombarded with enough information that you don't want to sit through an hour and a half just making small talk. Class is dismissed. Next time we will start class discussions on the first 5 chapters of the book you all received."
Book? What book. They probably got it when you decided to get lost Arya. Shut up. Shit. Maybe I could just ask someone what the book is and just buy it myself. Then you won't have to talk to him. Perfect.
The slamming of the door jolted me from my daze. Where'd everyone go? Shit. I was alone with him.
I packed up my stuff ready to head out the door when his voice stopped me.
"Arya."
I slowly turned to face the gorgeous man standing before me.
"Did you want a book, or were you planning on making things harder than they need to be?"
"I-I was just going to ask a ummm... ask..." His hard gaze was on me with his perfect eyebrow raised, questioning where I was going with this. He knew I was trying to avoid him.
I walked over to his desk where he stood. He handed me a book, but didn't let go when I tried taking it.
"You were drinking."
I was confused now. "What?"
He let his hand drop from the book. "That night at the club. You were drinking. That place is known to be strict about underage drinking."
I was really confuse now. "What does that have to do with anything?" I was genuinely curious as to where he was going with this.
"I thought...you see...I though you were older. I never even questioned your age when I saw you sitting there."
Oh.
"The guy my friend was with, he knew the owner. He let us."
He looked at me with a look I couldn't quite place. It almost looked like guilt, and lust. It was gone as quickly as I saw it.
"No one can-"
I cut him off. I knew where this conversation was going.
"I won't tell anyone. It's like it never happened. Thank you for the book. I won't be late again. Goodbye Mr. Fraser."
I didn't even look to see his face. I just left. Nothing in my life will ever be easy. Why do I even try?
