Merlin's Point of View.

I was going out of my mind with worry. We had been searching for Maria for hours, and nothing. Not even a trace of hoof prints. Arthur said we should make camp and sleep. We needed energy. And food. We had a last few scrapings of deer and had hunted, catching squirrel. But it wasn't enough.

Arthur was fast asleep, although I don't know how. I kept wondering wether Maria was alie or not. I was terrified for her.

The last of the fire crackled and all that was left as ash. I sighed, not even checking to see if Arthur was asleep, I clicked my fingers and the flames roared again. Then it came to me. How did I not think of this before?!

I grabbed a sword from a nearby tree and sprinted off to a clearing we passed, not far from the camp. As I ran, hoping it wasnt too late for Kilgharrah, I chanted,"O drakon, e mala soi ftengometh tesd'hup anankes! Erkheo!". I stood in the clearing, waiting for the great dragon to appear. He could not disobey a Dragonlord's call. Soon enough, the mightly beast swooped down over the treetops and landed in teh clearing, stretching his wings and looking down at me knowingly. The old dragon was very, very large, with his crinkled almond skin shining in the moonlight, a deadly flame rumbling in the pit of his stomach. "Young Warlock," His raspy voice echoingthrough the valley. "We meet again."

"I suppose you know what this is about?" I questioned, cutting to the point. Kilgharrah nodded his great head and shone his eyes in my direction. "How do I find her? MAria?" The dragon seemed to make himself comforble. "Well, it is a long story. Are you prepared?"

I nodded. "Tell me. Tell me everything."

I reced back to the camp  as the sun started to shine through the trees. The frost set an eerie glow to the valley, the grass damp from morning dew. "Arthur!" I screamed in his ear. He didn't wake, only snorted and turned. I sighed, as I already had the tin can with water at hand. "You made me do this..."I mumbled, tipping out the contents of the tin onto the King of Camelots face. He waked with a jolt. "MERLIN!" He roared, sending birds flying into the sky. "Good morning, sire." I said, tightening the girth on Lance. "What did you do that fo-why ar to tacking up?" I turned to face him with a sincere look on my face. "Arthur Maria's gone to fight the troll herslef, but she can't. She just... can't" I said. Arthur looked bemused. "And you know this, how?"

"Please Arthur, trust me for once, okay? You need to come with me, becausde MAria could be dead within minutes of the thing!" I panted, getting on Lance. Arthur looked taken aback and then shoock his head. "Why do I believe you." He muttered as he kicked Prime on, still cold and wet from the water.
