I wake up early. At about 7:00 am. Guess I'm used to it since my step-dad used to wake me up early to make him breakfast.
I go to the bathroom and inspect my reflection. My hair is flying in many different directions and bags were visible under my eyes.

I wash my face and try to fix my hair. I unzip my backpack and slip out a bottle of water and drink it. I throw the empty bottle in the trash that's sitting next to the bed.

I should probably buy more water because that was my last. I take my backpack and leave the room. I walk down the hallway until I reach the entrance I came in from last night.

The woman before wasn't there in her stead was a lady that looked quite younger than her.

"Um here's the key for the room I was in,"  I hand her the key "I'm checking out."

She nods and takes the key. I exit the  motel and I see the mini grocery store from last night.

I really hope it's opened. I walk towards it and see a guy sitting at the cashier. I sigh in relief. I walk inside grab a couple of water bottles and energy drinks and a tuna sandwich for breakfast.

I pay for my stuff and start walking towards the road again. Holding the tuna sandwich in my hand after taking two bites from it.

It's cloudy. Chilly, not as chilly as it was last night. It's quite nice actually. After what seemed like an hour of walk and thinking of nothing and everything I thought of listening to some music. I slipped my hand inside my pocket and pulled out my phone and plugged my earphones. I scrolled through my songs and decided to play Bohemian Rhapsody. I look at my phone to check the time, it reads 10:30 am.

I've been walking for three hours and a half. I'm getting tired. I go over to sit on the remains of a broken sidewalk and pull out a bag of crackers and start crunching on them.

I take a sip of water and I'm on the go again. I unlock my phone and start scrolling through Tumblr while walking. I didn't have to worry about cars hitting me or anything, there were barely any.

I stayed like this until 8:00 pm with occasional breaks, of course. I decide to put my phone away for a moment and look upfront. It's always more likely to trip when the sun it's down and you're surrounded by darkness. I can see the stars clearly because of the lack of light around here.

I sigh. My feet start aching after a while. I stretch a little. It's 7 minutes past midnight and it's very serene, almost relaxing.
