"You wanna play a game?" I turned to see my boyfriend, Jungkook, looking at me innocently with a sweet smile on his face. We were currently at my house studying for our evaluation for music class. We were both aiming to be singers someday so we took our studies seriously. By seriously I mean studying for 15 minutes, singing random notes, and making out because "the other just looked too hot when they lunged out that high note".

I sat my pen down ushering Jungkook to continue with the description of the game he wanted to play. He was in a daze and I leaned over the circular table that we were seated in and planted a small peck to his cheek. Jungkook jumped, his ruffled brown fringe swishing along to the movement. I laughed as he covered his cheeks in embarrassment, his ears turning a light shade of pink. That'd be enough for me to pounce on him but I pinched my thigh, well the part my basketball shorts weren't covering, and snapped back to Tame Tae as Jungkook liked to call it.

"Let's play Truth or Dare!" Jungkook slammed his book shut, making sure to put his pen inside as to not lose his spot. I did the same and smiled as Jungkook and I made eye contact briefly. Last time we played Truth or Dare was when we started dating, two years ago. We learned a lot about each other. Mainly that we both liked each other's lips. On our lips. "You go first Tae."

Being the man I am I wasn't afraid of this game. I had nothing to hide. I mean I showed everything to Kookie. I'm not afraid of anything. Dare me to do something, I'll do it. I am a tough 21 year old man. I'm so manly that I-

"Tae, I dare you to dye your hair hot pink." Jungkook's lips grew into a sly smile and my smirk dropped. There was no way I was dying my hair such a color. What tough man does that? But I couldn't say I didn't want to. That would be against the rules. I mean it can't be that bad. Real men rock whatever they wear. If my hyung Yoongi got his hair dyed pastel pink then I can do hot pink. I've did a lilac color.

I almost choked when Jungkook showed me a picture of the color he wanted on other people. The color seemed digitally enhanced on the picture but what if it wasn't. It was super bright and could attract eyes from miles away. There was absolutely no way I could change Jungkook's mind. I sighed exasperatedly as I crouched down in my chair. "Okay, I'll do it."

Jungkook cheered his cheekbones almost reaching his eyes. "I'm so excited, this will look great on you." He pinched my cheek before getting up all giddily and trotting to the door, humming a sweet tune along the way.

I was still sitting in my wooden chair with a frown. "This is happening like right now, today?" I almost cried when Jungkook nodded his head eagerly before leaving me a nervous mess at the table. I had no choice but to get up and follow him.

-

We had just got off of the bus. It sped away with a loud puff and flashing lights. Jungkook had been holding my hand the whole time but it was of no comfort. It was rather a snap of my sanity breaking away. Every piece of my manliness was taken away. From a hot pink hair dye bottle. The sick feeling in my stomach grew with every passing store. I could see a sign that read 'Mingyu's Hair Salon' in the distance. I swallowed the growing lump in my throat.

"There it is, I heard his salon is really good!" Jungkook squeezed my fingers making them a bit sore but warm. He seemed very pleased with the decision he decided to make. As for me, I'd rather climb in a hole and wither away. "Come in Tae."

I hadn't noticed I was standing still, not moving. Jungkook and I stood in front of two glass doors. Inside were many ladies and men getting their hair spruced up. Some were getting their hair dyed colors like blonde, brown, or red. I was gonna be the only man going for a hot pink. Oh my fucking-

"Hello what would you like today?" A lady with strawberry blonde hair greeted us at the receptionist desk. She wore lounge clothing and big round glasses that were sliding from her nose. She looked to be around my age. She waited patiently for me to fill in my request.

I coughed slightly before answering, "I'd like to get my hair dyed." I smiled watching the lady nod and write down what I wanted.

"The only appointment open is at 3:30, is that okay?" The receptionist tore her eyes away from the booklet he was scribbling in for just a moment. I nodded as that was in approximately 15 minutes. "If you don't mind me asking while you wait, what color are you getting?"

I could see Jungkook in my peripheral vision giggling under his breath before sitting down. I tried keeping my voice at a steady tone and pace as to not reveal that I didn't want it. "Hot pink." I grinned along with the woman as she put her two thumbs up.

"That'd look great on you, I can't wait to see it!" The woman exclaimed before guiding us to a free chair that a small girl had just got off of moments before. "Here you are, Mingyu will be right with you." He patted my shoulder one last time before retreating back to her desk.

I took a deep breath as I studied the tools on the vanity mirror. There were an assortment of combs, clips, scrunchies, and tools that got hot when plugged in. There were too many to list. I would have expressed my fright to my boyfriend but nope. I wasn't giving him the satisfaction.

Just then a tall grey haired man, maybe like six feet tall approached the chair I was sitting in. He had round glasses on and held a dog plushie that wore the same glasses he did. His hair was slicked down and parted in the middle, the hair looking like a greyish blue. "Hello I'm Mingyu and I'll be styling your hair. If you don't mind this plushie being here, it reminds me of my boyfriend who currently isn't here right now."

I nodded as Mingyu sat the dog toy on the vanity. This pink hair I was gonna have for the next months to come would remind me of Jungkook and a very sour memory of how my manhood was lost. But I couldn't go back now. I had to do this. To prove that I wasn't scared of my anything.

"What color are we doing today?" Mingyu played with the brown strands of my hair, pulling them up and letting them fall to a poofy mess on top of my head. "Sorry I need to do this for inspiration." He smiled at me through the mirror and I smiled back afraid of what would happen to my hair.

"Hot pink." I heard an audible gasp and then a sound of satisfaction follow right after. The gasp worried me. The sound of satisfaction worried me even more.

"This is gonna be fun, first we have to bleach off this boring brown." Mingyu's face scrunched up in disgust as he looked at my hair. I kind of felt offended but whatever. I sucked in a sharp breath as the cold white substance was slicked onto my hair. Not long after my hair was white or just a really light blonde. It frightened me.

This time around, a pink gel like substance was massaged into my hair. The reminiscence of the bleach in my hair sent my scalp on fire and I screeched silently as the pain devoured my whole head. But now it was all over. I had blacked out through most of the process, my bad thoughts consuming me. I was dangerously spun around to face my reflection. A pink haired Tae.

Jungkook's mouth was agape as he rubbed his fingers through my hair. "Wah Tae, this looks great on you." He continued to run his fingers through the cotton candy strands.

"Yeah yeah whatever, can we go home now?" I whined as I got up from the chair after Jungkook payed Mingyu and I thanked him before walking out of the now quiet hair salon.

"Yeah we can go, a surprise is waiting for you there." Jungkook got really close to my neck as he whispered it so sensually that I shivered. Maybe dying my hair wasn't too bad. I smirked as I slipped my hand around Jungkook's waist, pinching the skin lightly.

A/N: This is fucking terrible😑 I can't end anything for my life😂 But I hope you liked it😊 See you guys later🤗
