part.1

josh's pov:
i was just finishing my breakfast until i heard a knock on my front door. i roll my eyes and get up to go answer it. once i open the door i find a young petite boy with brown hair and brown eyes.
"uh hello?"
"h-hi, im tyler, your new neighbor" tyler said
"cool. im josh"
"ill just leave now" tyler said as he turned around to leave
"nice meeting you tyler" i said while biting my lip, something about him made me want him more. the way he looked down at the floor in embarrassment. or was it the shining brown eyes?
i turned around and went back to finish my breakfast. after completing school that day with no trouble, i went right next door to see if tyler was there. when the door opened i was greeted with the lovely young boy.
"j-josh?"
"hi tyler" i smiled
"h-hey come on in" he said as he invited me into his warm, cozy home.
"what brings you here, josh"
"nothing, just wanted to see how you were doing you know"
"oh i see" he laughed softly
"you have a cute laugh you know that" i smile as he blushed
"no i didnt know that" he said as his cheeks turned a light shade of pink.  
i slowly scooted a bit closer to him so i could examine him more. tyler had the most gorgeous brown eyes and cutest smile. it makes me wonder how i made it without him.
later that evening me and tyler decided that we should get to know each other a bit more.
"so tyler, do you play any instruments?"
"piano and you?" he said quietly
"i play drums"
"drums?"
"yup." i looked at him
"do you have any songs that you've written" i asked softly
he looks at me and nods.
"can you play one of them?"
he looked unsure of his answer
"they're a bit too personal.." he trailed
"please, just for me"
he nodded hesitantly and got up to go sit by the small keyboard
"this one is called trapdoor."
"He wakes up early today, throws on a mask that will alter his face.. nobody knows his real name but now he just uses one he saw on a grave.. he pretends that he's okay but you should see..him in bed late at night he's petrified..." tylers face was full of so much emotion. something about the way he sang his song made me feel the emotions he felt.
after the song was finished, i got up and went to stand by tyler.
"that was amazing tyler"
"thanks"
"you have a real potential"
tyler smiled softly
"performing isnt my thing, ya know"
"thats what they all say" i smiled back
i got up and went to embrace tyler, tyler hugged back, surprised by the sudden touch.
