Calum's pov (oooooo)
After I exchanged numbers with Luna I can't help but smile and look down at my phone. She out her name as "Lu🌙" and I find it so cute how she put the nickname I gave her. Or maybe everyone calls her that, I don't know but I love calling her that. I always see that it catches her off guard when I call her that. So maybe no calls her that.
Ok I'm thinking way too much about this. I slip my phone into my jeans pocket before goignbinto the locker room to change for practice.
"Hey Calum" I hear a familiar voice as I walk towards my locker with the number '25' on it and stockers that are my initials.
"Hey Ash." I say starting to get undressed so I can get into my practice clothes. "Where's the rest of the boys?" I ask referring to the team but mostly to Luke and Michael because they are my best friends also Ashton.
"Practice started like fifteen minuets ago Cal, everyone is already our there." Ashton tells me with a laugh.
"What?" I ask in disbelief pulling my shirt over smh head.
"Yeah, I'm just in here to tape my ankle." He tells me outing the tape back I to the coaches office where all that stuff is stored. "Coach isn't mad that you're not there Luke covered for you and said that you needed to finish a test." Ash informs me and I let out a sigh of relief not typing my cleats as fast.
"I owe him one." I say chuckling standing up and ready to go.
"Yeah, where were you anyways?" Ash asks as we walk out through the doors and onto the practice field.
"Oh um just got caught up talking to someone." I say as I strat to stretch seeing as everyone on the team is kind of doing what they want but it's the sport related.
"Were you talking to a certain person named Luna?" Ashton asks with a laugh as he kicks a ball from foot to foot.
"Possibly." I say lifting my leg behind me to strech it.
"She still run away from you?" He ask with a little louder laugh. I hate him, why do I tell him things.
"Hey Ash, Calum you decided to show up." I hear Lurks voice as he comes closer to us, Michael trailing behind him.
"He was talking to Luna." Ashton tells them in a sing song voice as I start stretching my arms.
"Awe, Calum's got a crush." Michael says laughing leaning into Luke.
"No I don't I'm just looking for friends besides you guys." I tell them. I mean it is true since the boys and I came here from Australia about two months ago I know a lot of people bit they aren't really friends I don't even consider them acquaintances because I don't even know half of the people who know me. Like you have an accent and suddenly everyone wants to know who you are and what your about.
"Friend as in girlfriend." Luke buts in raising his brows.
"No." I say shaking my head. I really hate the guys sometimes actually who am I kidding when they have a crush on someone I'm ten times worse on teasing them then they are with me.
"So you just talking about her non stop when you basically tackled her is nothing?" Ashton asks.
"It means that I felt bad for running into her." I grumble to them finishing my stretches.
"Whatever you say Cal" Michael says as we start to head over to do some ball drills. I just roll my eyes at my best friends.
After a bunch of drill mostly the boys and I goffing off and not really doing anything our coach tells us to take a break then we can leave or stay a bit longer.
