"Ding dong"
"I've got it!" Mrs.Chestnut almost immediately after the ding of the doorbell. I smirk at Olivia. She always is like this.
"Hello?" Mrs. Chestnut answers
"Hi I'm looking for a... um... Mrs. Chestnut?... is she here....?"
"Yes! Of course she's here! I'm Mrs. Chestnut!" She replies matter of factly. Olivia and I are trying are best not to laugh.
"Are you Shane?" She asks the man.
"Yes I am" he replies matter of factly.
¤¤¤Time skip 5 min¤¤¤ "(Y/n) can you come here please?"
"Yes ma'am" I replie
"This is Shane. He's going to ask you a few questions, if that's ok.?"
"Yes ma'am" I replied
I looked at Shane.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Um... (Y/n)" I reply shyly and mentally slap myself for being shy like that.
"(Y/n), that's a pretty name. I like it.!" He said testing it out.
"Thank you."
"How old are you?"
"Twelve" I replied, more boldly.
"Great! Just the age I'm looking for!"
"Ok you can leave now, (Y/n) " Mrs. Chestnut said.
