"I have what?!" Tyler shouted. It was a rhetorical question, of course.

"Multiple personality disorder."

"But... how?" Tyler looked down at his hands, not believing what he heard.

"People have it, sometimes for their entire lives, before they realise they have it." The therapist looked at Tyler, and then at Josh.

Josh rubbed Tyler's shoulder, putting his arm around him. "Are you okay?"

Tyler's personality suddenly changed, his eyes darkening, and looking up. "My name's blurryface, and I care what you think."

Josh leaped up. "Tyler?!"

"Tyler's not here, right now." He smirked up at Josh.

"You're his lover, aren't you?"

"H-his boyfriend, yes..." Josh scooted farther away from Blurryface.

"This is interesting." The therapist scribbled down something on his notepad, looking up suddenly.

"Tyler, come back to us." Josh asked, "Please."

"He doesn't want to."

Josh shakily sat down, across from Blurryface. "Why are you here?"

"I'm Tyler's insecurities. I do all of his dirty work for him." Blurryface smirked, leaning toward Josh. "You see, Tyler is too scared to do... things. And I'm the one that does them."

Suddenly, Blurryface changed character, twisting his snarled face back into Tyler's innocent, lovely face.

"No, I'm- I'm not." Tyler looked at Josh, who had moved across the room. "How did you get over there?!"

"Tyler, your other personality visited us." The therapist looked interested.

"What did he say?" Tyler frantically looked back and forth from Josh to the therapist.

"His name is Blurryface."

"What kinda name is THAT?" Tyler snorted.

Ignoring the question, the therapist looked up. "He told us that he is a vessel for all of your insecurities. He says he does your dirty work for you."

"But-"

"Tyler, let's go." Josh interrupted, pulling at Tyler's shoulder. "Our session is over."

"I'll see you next week?" The therapist asked, putting his notebook to the side.

"You wish." Josh mumbled, before closing the door.

"Josh, I don't understand this!" Tyler yelled, hitting the dashboard of the car. "I just wish we could turn back time, to when there were no problems."

"Tyler, life isn't fair. But you'll get through this, I promise." Josh squeezed Tyler's hand, and looked at the road.

"How are you so calm?"

"I'm not. I'm terrified. I can't describe to you how worried I am. I can't help but fear the worst. But I love you, I hope you know that." Josh tried to explain.

"I love you too, Josh."

But Tyler couldn't help but fear the worst, too.
