I had charms class first with Draco so i waited in the common room after i got changed like i usually did, i had been a couple of minutes Mist was sitting a my lap when someone came and sat opposite me, i looked up it was Elizabeth. I smiled and said hey and she said the same, we were talking about classes when she quickly changed the subject to death eaters,
"So you and Draco are becoming death eaters at the start of year 5 i hear?"
"Yeah we are, you're one right?" I said
"Yeah," she replied cheerfully, "my grandparents were death eaters so i kinda took over for them when they died when i started year 2,"
"Oh thats cool," thankfully Draco came down from his dorm room,
"Hey Ashley, you ready?" He smiled down at me
"Yeah," i said smiling then turned to Elizabeth to say goodbye and then got my bag and left for charms,
"How was your sleep?" I asked Draco,
"It was ok, how about yours?" He said rubbing his eye
"Alright," the rest of the walk was silent.
We finally got to charms and sat with Blaise, Vanessa and some others i started getting out my wand and equipment when i heard Blaise and Draco talking,
"so quidditch try outs are Thursday," (its tuesday) Blaise said,
"Yeah i know," draco replied,
"You gonna get Grace to play?" Blaise replied sarcastically,smirking so i butted in,
"Yeah actually i am, i was thinking of trying out for a beater," i snapped.
Classes dragged on i was walking to the library to study for potions class, i found a table near the back so no one would try and sit with me. We that failed because someone, well not just someone Hermione Granger came to sit next to me, she was ok i guess? Other then the fact she was Harry Potters bestfriend who just so happened to hate Draco but she was in my potions class so i didn't really mind,
"Hi, I'm Hermione Granger, you're Ashley Grace right?" She asked smiling and putting down her books taking a seat across from me,
"Hi, uh yeah i am," i said forcing a smile, ok i didn't exactly like her all to much, i mean she was best friends with harry who Draco and his whole family hated she also happened to be a mudblood. We made convosation will study but it wasn't anything much only about Quidditch and the potions studying. I slightly jumped when someone joined her, i looked up to see it was none other then Harry himself,
"Harry, this is Ashley," she said smiling,
"Hi," i said quickly he said the same,
It was getting late and i was going to meet Draco tonight so i started clearing up my things and said i had to meet draco then goodbye but Harry said something to me so i turned around,
"Ashley," he started "be careful around him he's bad news,"
"He happens to be my bestfriend," i snapped then turned around and walked off.
Thats it my mood was officially ruined thanks harry, i whispered the password to the portrait door and slammed it shut behind me, Draco whipped his head to look at me and smiled but i just sat down throwing my bag on the ground,
"Ashley whats wrong?" Draco asked softly,
"I was studying in the library hermione joined my table then harry and after a while i got up to leave, he said 'be careful around him he's bad news,'" i scoffed rolling my eyes,
"Hey don't worry he's a jackass," he said grabbing my hand i just nodded,
We soon went to bed.
A few weeks had past and it was Dracos first Quidditch practice (i didn't get in i know) he left early for it and i said i would try and go watch, i caught him on the way there i rounded the corner to see the Slytherin team in front of the Gryffindor Ron's wand out in front of Draco face, Hermione next to him, i quickly run over in time
"EAT SLUGS!" Ron shouts, he goes flying back and Slytherin team including me laugh, Harry glares at us then goes to help Ron who's now vomiting out slugs,
"He's a complete idiot," i say to Draco in the middle of the laughing he turns to me and says,
"Completely."
