(y/n) POV

"SAAAAANS!" I screamed as I walked down the stairs.

He jumped up, I must've startled him. "Huh?"

I sat next to him on the couch staring right at him. "Hey, you okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah, but can I ask you something?"

"You just did, but sure. What's up?"

He asked me if I remembered anyone or anything before I fell down here. I told them the last thing I was doing was looking for Frisk.

"No, like, uh, do you remember seeing me, or Papyrus, or Undyne, or anyone you've met down here."

Based on the confused look I was giving him, he knew I had no idea of what he was talking about, so he just told me not to worry about it.

-----

In the past week a lot has happened. Everyone is back and I've made friends with Mettaton, a famous robot down in the underground. He kindly gave me a few new sets of really cute clothes and he even invited me onto his show a couple of times, calling me a 'hero'.  I declined because I knew my job wasn't done. Once all of this stuff came to an end, I promised him I would go on to one of his several shows.

Alphys gave me a new phone with all of my friends in the contact list. It also allowed me to see where Frisk was, kind of like the screen she had in her lab. Right now, I wasn't sure if where they were, but they weren't killing anything, so I let my guard down a bit.

Undyne has been training me, just in case Frisk tries to hurt me. Surprisingly, I learned all she had to teach me fairly quickly.

When I was finished training with Undyne, I would walk back to Sans and Papyrus' house and sleep. It took a bit to convince Sans to stop giving up his room for me. I told him that since I was the guest, I should sleep on the couch and that I felt bad kicking him out of his room.

He reluctantly let me win and brought me a blanket and pillow to make the couch seem more like a bed.

I would charge my phone at night and keep it on to keep an eye on Frisk. After about an hour or two, I would fall asleep.

I woke up the next morning feeling a bit calmer than I have been usually. Knowing that everyone was now alive, the only thing I had to worry about was Frisk. They were still just staring blankly in the same place they were yesterday.

I was ripped away from my thoughts when Papyrus came stomping down the stairs.

He announced that he was going to be making spaghetti because everyone was coming over for a party tonight. He seemed rather excited this early in the morning.

Sans came downstairs an hour later, rubbing his eye sockets sleepily.

I was sitting down eating something called Tem Flakes I bought when we went to Temmie Village.

When I was done, I put my bowl and spoon in the dishwasher and sat back on the couch. Sans was sitting on the opposite end with his hood over his skull. He was watching one of Mettaton's shows.

I wasn't really paying attention but I heard Mettaton make a really bad pun, which caused me to start laughing. I heard Papyrus sigh from the kitchen.

"Oh, come on, (y/n)," Sans said with a grin plastered across his face. "That wasn't even that-"

"SANS NO-"

"Humerus."

At this point I had lost it, I was on the floor crying because of how much I was laughing. Sans was holding his nonexistent stomach laughing with me, and Papyrus, well he was looking at us with a disapproving look.

"I CAN NOT BELIEVE THE TWO OF YOU," he said before walking back into the kitchen.

After the two of you got yourselves together Sans tapped your shoulder.

"Hey do you wanna go to Waterfall and just chill? You've seemed like you've been really on edge for the past few days." He had a bit of concern in his voice.

"No, I'm fine, don't worry about me. And that sounds like a great idea. Let's go."

We told Papyrus that we were leaving and he made us promise to back before the party today.

Sans and I walked through Snowdin and I shivered a bit.

"You cold (y/n)?" Sans asked.

"Yeah but I'll be fine."

"Sure you don't want my jacket or-"

"Nah, I'm gonna be fine, dude. And besides, we're almost there, right?"

"Yup."

The rest of the short walk was silent. Sans led me into a room that was called The Wishing Room. We both layed on the ground to get a better look at the stars- or should I say the rocks on the ceiling that looked very much like stars.

"Wow," is all I could say.

"Yeah. It's nice isn't it?"

"Uh huh," I responded in agreement.

"Y'know they say that if you make a wish while in here it'll come true," Sans informed me.

"Okay, uhm... I wish I were as pretty as these," I said dreamily as I stared up at the ceiling.

"Well I mean you already are," I heard Sans mumble. I looked to him and smiled and he blushed a deep blue.

We sat there staring up, not saying a word to each other. It was so amazing. No matter how much I tried to stop think about what Sans had said earlier, it kept coming back.

You already are.

It was just a compliment, why was I still thinking about it?

I checked my phone to see the time. I was confused as to how they could tell time down here. Apparently Asgore had made his own time zone.

And it was five minutes before the time Papyrus asked us to be back.

I sat up, and that caused Sans to get up too.

"What's up?" he asked. He'd be raising his eyebrows now if he had any.

"We gotta get back in a few minutes, and it's a half an hour walk and-"

"Kid. Chill," Sans cut me off.

"What?"

"Just calm down and grab my hand." He held his boney hand out to me and I grabbed it, interlocking his hand in mine. There was a flash of white light and in a few seconds, we were teleported in front of the house.

"How did you-"

"Magic," he said, cutting me off once more. He grinned at me. "Now let's get in there."
