Your POV
After Sans ran up to his room I stood confused in the doorway.
Why didn't he want to tell me?
Eh. Probably had a good reason not to. I won't worry about it for now.
I plopped down on the couch and turned on the TV. I assumed that Papyrus was in his room since I didn't see him. I would go check to see if he were in there, but I honestly have no energy at the moment to do so.
I was watching one of Mettaton's shows once again. He was cooking something that didn't look edible in the least. I soon got too tired to even hold my eyes open. I didn't want to go to sleep, because I didn't want to have one of those horrible nightmares again. I had to sleep though.
----------
This morning, I woke up in San's room. huh. That's odd, because I don't remember falling asleep in here.
I decided to try and get up, but I realized Sans was next to me sleeping with his arm wrapped around my waist.
I tried to get up again only to realize that I wouldn't be getting up any time soon, so I decided to try to go back to sleep.
About a half hout later, I realized that wasn't gonna happen. I just couldn't sleep. Sans was still sleeping I just layed there.
After about an hour, I realized that Sans had woke up due to him quickly pulling his arm away from me and then apologizing for it while that blue blush crept across his face.
"It's fine, no big deal," I reassured him with a kind smile.
"Okay, good." He sounded pretty relieved that I wasn't upset at him for it. "Feeling any better?"
"Yeah. Not that much, but I'm feeling better than I did before."
He nodded before asking if I wanted to go to Grillby's. Sans walked out of the room when I told him that I'd meet him at the door.
I grabbed my hoodie before heading downstairs to see Sans waiting for me. He looked really nervous about something, but I don't know what. I brushed the thought out of my mind. If he wanted to tell me, then he will.
"After you." Sans held the door open for me and I walked through and he followed behind.
Sans' POV
My goodness, the walk to Grillby's felt longer than it usally does. Probably because I eas really nervous. I was going to tell Y/N something that I should've told her earlier. Papyrus' advice kept repeating itself in my head. Or should I say skull?
Anyway, tonight, I was going to tell Y/N how I felt about her. No backing out, no stalling.
When we got inside, we sat down at a booth and she ordered fries, while I just had ketchup.
We talked for a while, told some really bad puns, and just had a bunch of fun. I enjoy being around Y/N. She's just a kind spirited person, and she makes me feel something that I haven't felt in a while.
Happiness.
After eating, Y/N and I walked outside. We walked for about a minute before she nudged me lightly. I looked at her, and she had that grin she wore right before she told one of her jokes.
"Hey, I can do a really good impression of you," she said. I was kind of confused but I returned the grin.
"Okay, kiddo, Go for it."
She walked a few feet in front of me and she pulled a ketchup bottle out of her jacket..??
oh no.
"Look at me. I'm Sans. I like telling puns, and also, ketchup is the greatest thing in the world."
At the end of it, the both of us were laughing so hard, I could barely stand.
"Oh really? Well if I'm not mistaken Miss L/N, your puns are even worse than mine!"
"Omg, shut up!" she said, playfully punching me in the arm.
After calming down, we continued to walk again.
"So, who's the girl you were talking about earlier?"
Oh damn, I almost forgot to talk to her about... y'know.
"Okay. Well, she has (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes, has a great personality, really nice smile, her name's Y/N, and she's a really cool person," I said casually.
She turned to look at me.
Your POV
Sans basically described her as a girl who looked kinda similar to myself. When he said my name, I was kinda expecting it, but not really, so I looked over to him. After a few seconds of silence I smiled at him.
"...so, do you wanna-" I cut Sans off by kissing him. Basically I just kissed his teeth because he doesn't have any lips, so that was the closest it was gonna get. "So, uh, um, I'm assuming that's a yes?"
"Oh come on," I giggled while holding his boney hand. "Let's get back, it's pretty cold out here."
"Heh. Okay. Let's go."
And with that, we headed back to Sans' and Papyrus' house, where it was much better than sitting out in the cold.
After Papyrus made spaghetti for us, we all went to sleep. I had planned on sleeping on the couch, but Sans wouldn't let me, and insisted that I sleep in his room. So I agreed, and we went up to his room. I layed with my head on his chest, and he wrapped his arm around me protevtively.
Even though there have been a lot of bad things happening lately, you feel like everything is going to turn out okay. This fills you with determination.
