*B's POV*
After I got my food, I went to find Mel so we could talk about whatever was on her mind. I went over to Bandz and asked him if he had seen her and he said she was getting something to drink from inside the last time he had seen her. I went in the house and saw her sitting at the island so I went and sat down across from her.
"Wassup Mel. You wanted to talk?" I asked her.
She didn't say anything at first but look down and play with the straw in her soda. I looked at her confused cause I just had a therapy session with my sister and wasn't tryna have another one and on top of that I felt like my time being wasted and was getting tired.
"Mel what's up?" I asked again.
"Brandon I wanted to know something." She began. Why they keep calling me by my full name? "I'm sure you probably already know what I'm gonna say and ask but I just wanna know how you feel about it."
"Huh? Mel what you talking bout?" I asked. Was there something that I missed and should know about?
"Us Brandon! How you feel about-"
"Ayo B! Where you at?" Somebody yelled.
"In the kitchen." I responded. Rock walked in with Discipline. They started telling me some stuff and was planning on going out tonight.
"Excuse me! We were talking." Mel yelled.
"And now y'all not." Rock said.
"Yea Mel you wanna talk about this later?" I asked her.
She gave me an evil look then walked away.
"What she mad for?" Discipline asked. I just shrugged. We didn't get to finish or even start our conversation so if it was important she would have made them leave.
"Ya brother must not be laying the pipe right or something." Rock laughed. "I may have to go cheer her up."
I laughed along with Discipline as he shook his head. "O said he ain't e'en fucking with her right now."
"Why not?" I asked. That's probably what she wanted to talk about. She could have just wanted some advice.
"Cause of you nigga. You got that bitch sprung off you so he said he fell back." Discipline took a seat as he explained.
"What? That don't even make sense. We ain't even like that." I said lightly.
"Yea well that ain't what he think. He just don't wanna fuck with her and she got feelings for another nigga." Discipline said.
I began eating my food and shaking my head. "Well he ain't even gotta worry about that cause I don't like her. She's like another sister to me." I told them.
"She don't be acting like that." Rock said. "I swear she in love with you."
"That ain't true." I said.
"What nigga? She be all over you. You just a friendly muhhfucker if you ain't noticed how she be doing up on ya." Rock said.
"Especially when she want you to do something for her." Discipline laughed. "She grabs your arm and her voice get all high and she hit you with that shit girls be doing with they eyes and shit."
"Whatever yo." I smiled but knew what they were talking about. I never thought she liked me except for that one time she tried to kiss me but I thought she was just delusional at the time cause she had gotten shot. Either way I still doubt that was what the conversation was about. It couldn't be.
