"Yo call an ambulance. Is she still alive?" Obedience asked me. I couldn't respond. I was frozen, just staring at my sister dying in my arms if she wasn't already dead. Dre was on the phone with the police. "Let me check her pulse." Obedience said while getting on the ground and grabbing her. I didn't let go of her until Obedience gave me a look that indicated that it was okay. He checked it on both her neck and her wrist and then felt under her nose. "She's still alive but her breathing is faint and her pulse is extremely slow." He said. More tears started to fall.
"Ambulance is gonna be here in 7 minutes." said Dre.
"7 minutes!!?? We can't wait that long. I'll drive myself." I yelled as I opened the passenger door and tried picking her .
"Nah Angel we needa wait for professionals." Discipline said.
"My sister will be dead by the time they get here." I told him. I got her in the car and picked up my gun. We all hopped in the car and I sped off. I didn't stop for cars, stop signs or the police who tried stopping us. We got to the front of the hospital. Nurses put Mikki on a gurney and rushed her in. I followed close behind as the police stopped and by to the boys. A male nurse stopped me as the rest of them carried Mikki away.
"Ma'am I'm sorry but you can't go back right now." He guy.
"NO MOVE! I NEED TO BE WITH MY SISTER!" I said trying to move past him.
"You have to wait out here." He said again. I saw the doors of the emergency room close and I stopped fighting.
"Is there anybody you can call ma'am?" The nurse asked. He walked me over to the empty family waiting room. "Call a family member or friend and I'll be back to tell you her condition, alright?" He asked. I nodded and sat down, pulling my phone out my back pocket. I scrolled down to B's name and broke down again. How am I gonna be able to tell my little brother that his sister may be dying? I called him and listened to the phone ring as I waited for B to pick up.
"Wassup sis?" B said cheerfully. His happy mood was definitely about to change. I opened my mouth to speak but the words didn't come out. "Angel you here?" Still I said nothing. "Helllloooo? Sis you gone say something?" He chuckled.
"B..." I said weakly.
"Angel what's wrong?" His whole voice changed. He knew there was something wrong.
"B..she got...she got shot." I said through tears and .
"What? Angel stop crying I can't understand you." He said.
"Mikki got shot!" I yelled frustratedly.
"Angel stop fucking playing!" He yelled back.
"I'm not playing B....she got shot and I'm at the hospital now." I cried.
"What the fuck." I heard him say right before I heard the phone drop to the floor.
"B hold up where you- Hello?" Somebody said through the phone. It sounded like Bandz.
"Yea." I said softly.
"What the fuck? Is everything alright? B just threw his phone and stormed out." He said. I sniffed about two or three times before telling him what happened. "Oh shit ok we on our way." He told me. I hung up and started pacing. My sadness was turning into anger. I was infuriated, thinking of whoever was trying to kill us and how I was gonna get them back.
Finally everyone came in running up to me. B, Mel, Bandz, Rock, Stone, Kway, Leah, Discipline, Obedience, , Marquise, and Dre all crowded around me. I bit my lip to keep from crying again.
"Sis are you ok? What happened?" B asked, holding me. I was too angry and focused on revenge that his question went in and out my ear. I didn't even bother to hug him back. Discipline was explaining what happened as the nurse came back in the room.
