Now this shit's about to kick off, this party looks wack

Let's take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch

I'm bout to bloody this track up, everybody get back

That's why my pen needs a pad cause my rhymes on the ra-aag

Just like I did with addiction I'm 'bout to kick it

Like a magician, critics I turn to crickets

Got em still on the fence whether to picket

But quick to get it impaled when I tell 'em stick it

So sick I'm looking pale, oh that's my pigment

Bout to go ham, ya bish, shout out to Kendrick

Let's bring it back to that vintage Slim, bitch

The art of MCing mixed with da Vinci and MC Ren

And I don't mean Stimpy's friend, bitch

Been public enemy since you thought PE was gym, bitch

I woke up to my alarm blaring out Bizarre by Eminem. Don’t judge me, I really like that song. Somehow, thankfully, I managed to sleep the entire night without any nightmares. I lay in my bed for a few more minutes and then grabbed a red polo and some tan chinos before heading into my restroom. It was quite painful to get up, my entire body hurts and I very much wish I could just stay in my bed all day, but I don’t want to be home any longer then I have to.

I looked into my mirror and saw that most of my right cheek was covered in a giant purplish, blackish bruise. I signed and got out the cover up that I keep hidden. Don’t want anyone in this house to be finding that.

When I was finally satisfied that I applied enough to the bruise that it looked like I never got hit in the first place, I hid the stuff in my bag so I can reapply it if I needed to. I quickly put on my clothes and removed the dresser from where it was blocking my door. I took a deep breath and all but ran out of my room into the kitchen, grabbed a banana, and I was out the door. Luckily I didn’t run into anybody in the house.

I realized I didn’t have my keys to drive the piece of crap car of mine, so I started the long walk to the school. I walked for a while and when I got to the spot where Liam and I split off, I saw him waiting there. When he saw me, he ran over to me. I felt a surge of happiness go through me for a second. I just wasn’t expecting to see him waiting for me.

“Hey, Niall!” He said when he got to me, with the hugest grin on his face.

I took a deep breath and asked “Y-you waited for m-me?” My voice was a little hoarse from my yelling match yesterday and I was praying to God that Liam wouldn’t notice. I knew I was stuttering to, but I just can’t really help that.

He looked kind of shocked that I had something, but quickly got over it. “Well, yeah, why wouldn’t I? Anyway, I came over here wondering if you would like me to drive us to school instead of walking.”

I thought about it for a minute. I would get to see where Liam lives and I am pretty sore, so yeah, a ride does sound good over walking right now. I nodded to Liam and I followed him to his house. Not more than a few minutes later we arrived at this cute, two story house. He led me over to his car and when we both got in and put on our seat belts, he started the drive to school. It was quiet the entire ride down there, but it was ok because it was a peaceful quiet and it wasn’t awkward at all.

The day just kind of dragged on and nothing big happened until lunch time came around.

I was sitting at my usual table for lunch. Liam was sitting next to me again and he fits in perfectly with the group and I was glad. I am really starting to like Liam and I want him to keep wanting to be around me. I don't really know how else to explain it.

He had given me half of his sandwich again and I had given him a grateful smile. Josh and Zayn were studying for a test they had next period. Harry and Louis were play fighting with a water bottle. All of a sudden, the cap came off and I became soaked in water.

Everyone was staring at me and I didn’t really understand why, until I remembered about the cover up. “Shit! I got t-to go!” I hastily got up, grabbed my bag, and raced towards the restroom. When I got there, I went straight for the mirror. My hair was stuck to my forehead and it was still dripping with water. But that’s not the bad part. The makeup was smeared and most of it came off revealing the bruise.

The door opened up behind me and I quickly put my arm up in front of my face, hoping in vain, that it was covering the bruise. Liam came in, locked the door behind him, and just stared at me. He slowly walked up to me and slowly removed my arm. My breath hitched for a second and I can feel myself trembling a little bit, but I did nothing to stop him.

He gasped when he fully saw the bruise. “Niall, who did this to you, who hit you?” He asked very quietly. I just shook my head, not wanting to say anything to him. It was quiet for a minute and Liam was still softly clutching my arm. Something seemed to click for him though because the next thing he asked was “Niall, did someone at home do this to you?”

I could feel tears coming to my eyes and I tried desperately not to let them out. I nodded my head and I started shaking even harder. Liam wrapped his arms around me and I know he’s trying to calm me down, but it’s not helping. It’s too overwhelming for me and my breathing was starting to get ragged and my tears started to fall. Liam seemed to realize this and quickly let me go.

I ran to a stall and emptied the contents of my stomach. I could feel Liam rubbing my back and I was actually very grateful for that. When I was done, he helped me lean against the wall of the stall and sat across from me. He stared at me the entire time as I was calming down. After I was completely calmed he helped me stand up.

We heard the bell, but neither of us made a move to leave. We were both just staring at each other, waiting for the other to break the silence first. I sighed and blushed a little, because I was a bit embarrassed and said “T-thank you.”

He looked down at the ground as he said “It’s no problem.”

I felt like I needed to say something else though. “Y-you can’t t-tell anyone, ok? I-it would only g-get worse if you d-do.” I stuttered.

He looked back up at me and blurted out “Please, stay over at my house tonight!” He blushed a little, but did nothing to take back what he said.

I didn’t even think about it before I nodded my head yes. I knew not coming home tonight would result in big consequences later, but I just didn’t want to go home tonight.

“Thank God.” Liam breathed out. I nodded and I looked back in the mirror to look at the bruise again. There’s no need to put the makeup back on, everyone already knows.

And with that thought, I took a deep breath, nervous because I would have to face people with my face like it is. Liam placed a hand on my shoulder and I wince, but thankfully I didn't do anything, but that and I only winced because it was my injured shoulder. I looked up at him and he gave me an encouraging smile and that was all I need to leave the restroom and take on the rest of the day.
