“Who here has homework tonight?” Harry asked excitedly. It was lunch time and the rest of the lads and I were making our way to our usual table. Surprisingly, no one rose their hand. Harry’s smiled brightened. “Great, if no one has homework by the end of the day, you guys should all stay over at my house tonight and watch movies!”

I grinned. “That sounds nice. I’m in as long as I don’t have any hom-”

Someone had grabbed on to my wrist, causing searing pains to shoot up my wrist, and started dragging me down the hall. I looked up to see the person was Liam.

“Fuck, Liam, let go of my wrist!” I wined out. Tears came to my eyes, but I forced them back. I started to claw at his hand to get him to let my wrist go.

He shook his head. “We need to talk.” He said firmly.

I started panting and it was becoming harder to keep the tears from falling. His grip on my wrist hasn’t loosened at all. “Ok, we can talk. Just please, shit, let my wrist go.”

He stopped and turned around to look at me, never letting go of my wrist. I whimpered in pain, but he didn’t seem to notice. “How I know you won’t run away?”

The pain was beginning to get too much, I let a few tears fall out. I need him to let go of my wrist now! “Shit, Liam, let go!” I screamed out, causing a few heads to turn towards us.

He finally realized I was in pain. He quickly dropped my wrist and looked like a deer caught in headlights. He stared at me with shock, worry, and worst of all, pain in his eyes.

I sighed. It’s not his fault, he didn’t know what I had done to my wrists. “I grabbed his arm and dragged him to the nearest empty classroom.

He started apologizing as soon as I locked the door. “Niall, I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to h-” I cut him off my gently pushing him down onto an empty desk and took off my jacket. I put my bandaged wrists on display for him.

He stared at them for a long while before he carefully grabbed my right wrist and traced one of the older scars lightly, causing me to shudder. I tried my hardest not to break down right then and there. This was a secret that I never wanted Liam to find out, but I owed him an explanation. As much as he hurt me, I can’t let him think that he was just hurting me so bad physically a few minutes before.

He took a shaky breath and looked up at me with glossy eyes. “D-did I-I cause t-these?” He stuttered out, letting a few tears loose.

That’s what caused me to break. The tears I had been keeping back started rushing out. I snatched my arm from him and wrapped my arms around myself, like that would protect me somehow. Liam got up and wrapped his arms around me. I shoved my face into his chest and let all the tears come out. He buried his face into my hair and based off his shaking, I can tell he was crying too.

We stayed like that a long time, just using each other to cry on. I don’t know what he was thinking, but I was thinking about where we had gone wrong? I know we weren’t dating for a long time, but we connected so well. Maybe the problem was we went too fast, too soon. But I don’t care, all I know is that I still love him and I want him back.

He took a deep breath. “I guess I will take that as a yes then.”

“T-they’re not all because of you. M-most of t-them are because of y-you, but some of t-them are because of my dad.”

He had tears falling down his face again. “H-how come I never n-noticed them?”

I bit my lip. “You were kind of more in-interested in other t-things.”

He took both of my wrists into his hands. He pulled up my right one and started kissing all the scars that wasn’t covered by the bandages. He whispered sweet nothings after each wrist, things like I’m so sorry and never again and you’re still beautiful. He repeated all these actions with the other wrist.

I basically froze in place while he did all of this. He was so beautiful and what he was doing right now made me fall just a little bit more in love with him. When he finished up, he stared up at me and I couldn’t help myself.

I smashed our lips together. He was shocked at first, but he quickly recovered. We kissed with a force that we have never kissed with before. We kissed with all the emotions that we have been holding back these past few days. We kissed like we have never kissed before and to be honest, it was one of the best kisses I ever had.

We pulled away from each other with the need for air. He bit his nervously. “Where did we go wrong Niall?”

I shook my head. “Maybe we went a little too fast.”

He sighed. “I want it to be like it used to be. I want it to be you and me again. I want us to be together again. I missed you and these past few days had been torture for me.”

“Then why won’t you fight for me.” I whispered brokenly.

“You haven’t given me the chance to. I told you I would fight for you one Monday and you ran from school on Tuesday, you ran off with Josh.” He said the last part kind of angrily.

I sighed. “Seriously, you are going to get jealous? Over Josh? You do know that Josh is one of the straightest people we know. Plus, I would never do that to you. I would never go out with someone after us being only broken up for a few days.”

“I don’t want to break up. I want us to be together.” Liam said quickly.

“Then fight for me!” I basically screamed at him. “Prove to me that you want me!”

“You haven’t given me a chance to!” He matched my scream.

“But, I’ve still seen you around with her! The day I ran out I saw you and her together! You know how I feel about her and you still chose to hang out with her…over me.” I added the last part kind of quietly, but he heard me anyway.

He ran his hand through his hair. “Niall, I made a mistake before. And I wish more than anything that I can take that back, but I can’t. But, believe me when I tell you that we are just friends. I don’t want anyone, but you.”

I looked at him with tear filled eyes. “I just don’t know Liam. I still don’t like her.”

He sighed again and bit his lip. “Do you trust me?” I just stared at him as I thought over my answer. “Will you trust me right now?” He quickly fixed himself as he started stroking my cheek.

I leaned into his touch. “I’ll trust you.” I whispered.

“Good.” Was all he said before he leaned his head down to kiss me again.

Hopefully this time I will see some result.

Sorry if this kinda sucked. I tried to clear up some loose ends in this chapter. If there is anything that you are confused about or if there is something I forgot, can you please tell me?

Anyway, is Liam going to stick to his promise and if so, how is he going to win Niall back?
