Mated to the Alpha (ON HOLD)

Chapter 10

Dmitri POV

I was sad when I heard the disappointment in her voice after I hung up. I didn't wont to cancel on her but I had to. “you ready?” Conner asked . I turned around to look at him and said “yeah” as I walked toward him.

I climbed into the drive side of my SUV and waited for Conner  to get in before starting the car and pulling away. We were on our way to meet with the alpha of Shadow Pack to set up a peace treaty between our to packs because, last night one of his wolves was caught  trust passing on our turf.

His pack house was on the other side of town so it took us an half an hour to get there. Once we pulled up a girl with red hair was standing out side waiting for us. We climbed out of the truck just as she spoke “ right this way” she said motioning for us to fallow. She lead us into a big room that held a long wooden desk and a large chair.it was covered with animal heads on the wall, which i figured he hunted. I assumed this was the alpha office. “Welcome” I heard a male voice behind me. I turned to see Seth walking into the room with a guy behind him. I nodded my head at him with a smile. He walked over and sat down in the big chair behind the long desk and gestured for us to sit in the chairs in-front of the desk. i watched as they guy that came in the room went to stand behind him. Seth must of saw me looking at him because he then introduced him."this is my beta Jason"he said  “l shall we get started?” he asked. i turned my attention back to him and  nodded my head again and sat down.

We spend an hour going over our treaty before coming to an agreement. "your coming to the alpha dinner right"? he asked "yeah i'll see you there" i replied as  I stood up and shuck his hand. After one last goodbye  I made my way to the door. We headed back to the car and made our way home. Once home I had to take care of another wolf problem my parents. They thought it would be best if some of my pack members moved into the house with me. You see, I didn't have a whole lot of my pack living with me just my beta Conner,my gamma Mason, and my best friend Cole. Cole was the youngest of us all and he shifted to late therefore he couldn't be my gamma or beta. We all grow up together though and are great friends so he didn't take it personal that he didn't rank.

The rest of my pack that consisted of 135 lived around me in separate houses, which worked out fine because they came to me when ever they needed something. I even went to school with some of them.

After telling my parents that I wasn't moving them in with me over and over again they finally gave in and agreed. It was 6 o' clock when I finally got done with my alpha business. I thought about calling Mackenzie to see if she maybe wonted to catch a late movie or something be decided against it. Instead I decided to go for a run and maybe check up on her while I was out.

I ran out my back door striping down to my bare skin and shifted into my wolf. My wolf was bigger then most wolves and all black. I had a white star on my right shoulder that marked me ask the alpha. I had really large massive paws and ice blue eyes that seemed to glow in the dark when I needed them to.

I ran as fast as I could letting my wolf take over and be free for the time being. I made it to Mackenzie house in no time. To my surprise she was standing in the door way of her house waving at he friend Henry. I watched as she closed the door and turned on the porch light. I walked to the back of the house and plopped down behind a bush making sure I was unseen to anyone who looked out their window.

I sat there for what seemed like an hour and a half before I seen the light to her room come on. I watched her shadow reflecting off the window curtain as she made a few movements. I stayed there until I saw her light flicker off before I stood and stretched and took off back home. Once back into my human form I changed back into the clothes that I striped off before my run and walked into the house. I went straight to my room and took a shower and climbed into bed. I was upset with myself for canceling on Mackenzie but I was glad that I was going to see her tomorrow and hang out with her after school. I walked over to my desk and pulled out my English book to finish my homework because it was due tomorrow. Once done with that I climbed into bed and went to sleep anxious about tomorrow.

The next day I woke up early. I decide to drive over to Mackenzie house and give her a ride to school. I pulled up just as she was walking out of the house. “Hey”she said as she made her way down the drive way. “Hey” I said “i thought I'd give you a ride to school” she smiled but then started frowning as if she thought of something. “ I can't I have to pick Henry up” she replied still frowning. I smiled “ well then off to Henry house we go” I said opening the passenger door for her. I closed it and made my way to the drive set. I drove as she gave me directions to his house. We pulled up to a smiling Henry. He climbed into the back set and greeted both of us before turning to his attention to his  phone.

The rest of the car ride to school was silent. Once we pulled up and I found a park I climbed out abd walked over to the passenger side and opened the door for her, climbing out she turned around and grabbed her back pack which was on the floor. I gently took the bag from her hand and slung it over my left shoulder while closing the car door. I walked her to her locker and smiled as everyone whispered and stared. I handed her back pack to her just as the 5minute bell ranged. I told her I was gonna go to my locker and I would be back in a minute so we could walk to class together. She smiled and nodded her head putting her back pack into her locker.

I sprinted down the hall way to my locker throwing my back pack inside and grabbing the books I needed just as I was about to sprint back to her locker 2 jocks got in my way arguing. I was just about to push past them when a crowed started to form. I knew if I didn't get past this crowed we were going to be late for class. With as little strength as I could control (trying not to hurt anybody) I started shoving people out of the way. Once out of the crowed I sprinted back toward Mackenzie locker just as the hall ways was starting to clear. She was standing there looking at the time on her phone and watching as the students made their way to there class. I ran up to her hardly out of breath. “what took you so long?” she asked “some guys got into a fight in-front of my locker” I stated. “were going to be late” she said with a frown. I smiled and asked how much time we had “ a little over a minute” she replied. "Thats all I needed" i said with a smile. I gently took her books from her hand and stacked them on top of mine.She looked at me with a confused expression. I then scooped her up and through her over my shoulder and took off full speed toward class.

When we got to the stair I climbed them two at a time. And then ran full speed toward the class room as soon as I reached the top. The whole time I was running I heard Mackenzie laughing historically. I guess she was having fun. We made it in class just as the bell ranged. I watched the stares the girls was giving Mackenzie as we made our way to our sets. The teacher wasn't in the room yet so we were safe.

I watched as she caught her breath from laughing, which made me smile.”Had fun?” I asked “yeah” she replied smiling. “ I didn't know you could run that fast” she commented “well I do alright” I replied with a smile. She was just about to comment on that when the teacher walked into class bring the class to a start.
