Chapter 24

Okay! I know I haven't updated in about 4 months but I decided I won't leave you beautiful readers hanging in wonder about what happened or what will happen (: So here goes nothing!

|Lexi's POV|

I've been at Liam's flat for about five hours waiting on some type of message from Alicia. I heard on the news that a plane crashed and they didn't give any information on what plane or the passengers. Liam has been trying to distract me and honestly it's actually slowly working because I'm not as focused as I was an hour ago, yeah I realize I should be having some type of panic attack since my sister by friendship could possibly be dead but I need some relaxation don't I? I can't just be giving myself stress when I could be having some fun with my loving boyfriend and getting my mind off of the dreaded subject. Okay, let's make a deal between you and me. For the rest of my waiting time I won't bring up Alicia for the sake of my sanity. Good? Great!  

"Sometimes I don't understand your logic!" I hear Louis shout outside the front door at who I assume is one of the band members. When I see Louis barge into the once silent and peaceful room my assumption was wrong.

"Who was that?" Liam, I'm not sure that's a good idea...Louis glared over and pointed his eyes at Liam with the look of pure disgust.

"Some whore I was forced on a date with." With that rude explanation he stomped into the bathroom loudly locking the door with a couple crashing noises. 

"Clean up on isle 'Louis'," I tried to lighten up the sour mood. Yeah never again.

Turns out that 'whore' was some business stunt for the band. She is the daughter of some very successful marketing company. She is known to be a complete ditz. Oh and her name is Brittney! Wait did I forget to mention she's blond. Yeah talk about skank appearance. No I'm not being stereotypical but she seems just like it...

Louis was in the bathroom for about half an hour then came out with a towel around his waist. I don't understand that either. Whoops I'm pissed time to shower! He came over and sat next to me like him being in just a towel doesn't effect my hormones one bit. Yeah I love Liam but if an attractive, toned male sits next to me I will fangirl on the inside. Not to mention I can basically smell him from the 6 inch distance. Yes, that close I know this isn't good for my soul.

"Hey Lex..." Louis whispers into my ear. His breath tickles my ear and I can smell his minty breathe. My heart is racing so fast and so is my breathing. I need to compose myself so I don't embarrass myself.

"Yes?" I manage to choke out. This is not good! I shouldn't be feeling this way. Louis shouldn't have this affect on me like this. I should only be able to react this way with Liam! Butterflies start to form in my stomach. No! Stop!

"Do you-" Before he can finish Liam comes back into the room with some tea and popcorn. He seems a little shocked for a second then quickly hiding it remembering we are his closest friends and we would never do that. I'm hoping he's right...

"So. Movies and popcorn? I figured since we all are tense that some comedy or horror movies would do the charm."

"Horror Movies?!" I basically squeaked. He nodded his head while deeply chuckling in my girlish action. I cross my arms over my chest acting like that bothered me. When what really bothered me was what just happened between Louis and I. I hope I wasn't the only feeling that way, then again I wish I was so then I could down play it and say I was imaging all those mixed and probably irrational feelings I had when we were so close. I could basically see the ocean in his eyes. GOSH! Lexi! What in the hell are you thinking? He is the love of your life's best friend! You cannot and will not think like that towards him.

Louis quickly and lowly said into my ear while Liam was turned around, "Meet me a Weathe's Café at eight in the morning tomorrow." Louis then got up and walked out the front door without even bothering to shut it. By the time Liam turned around he was already out the door in his car and turning down the road.

"Why did he leave?" Liam asked curiously. I didn't even know so I shrugged. Liam looked confused as he laid down leaning on the chair pulling me into him as the movie started.
