Tobias and Chris allowed Audrey to stay for a few months due to the fact that when they tried to take her home, she began screaming and shaking violently. Over her time with the two, she never spoke, she barely ate, and was always staring off into space. From time to time she'd mutter things that neither Tobias or Chris could understand. She hardly ever left the guest room and really only seemed attentive when there was news that someone had been killed. One night they woke up to the sound of chilling laughter coming from her room. When they went to check it out, they found Audrey repeatedly stabbing herself through the hand. They immediately grabbed the knife and with some trouble got it out of her hands and took her to the hospital. A few weeks had passed since that little 'incident'. Audrey sat awake on a uncomfortably warm Sunday night, staring at the clock on the wall. Just watching it. Hearing the tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. It almost drove her mad. Her eyes scanned the rest of the room, falling on the window. She had been forming a little plan for a while now. One that would get her out of her stupor and free her of her writers block. She quickly got changed and walked over to the window. She opened it with a creak. She hopped out and landed on the ground below with a dull thud.Tobias slowly stirred awake, positioning himself upright. He wiped his eyes and swung his legs over the edge of the bed. Ever since the two found Audrey that night, they thought it was best to check up on her every night. His feet hit the cold ground, waking him up completely. He stumbled his way to the guest room, stretching in the process. Tobias slowly opened the door and stepped into the room. "Heeeyyy. You awa-" He paused upon seeing no one there. "Audrey?" He called, looking around the room. He rushed out, frantically checking the rest of the apartment only to find that she wasn't there.
"Thank you. We'll keep a look out here too." Chris hung up the phone and set it down. He shrugged, walking over to Tobias, who just decided to wait after multiple failed attempts to call Audrey to see where she was. "That was the police station th-" "Do they have her?"
"Well..No. But they said they'll keep a look out for her and they sent an officer our to look." Chris muttered, grabbing his cup of coffee and taking a sip. It wasn't pleasent, to Say the least, to be woken up at this time for such a trivial thing as an adult running away. "She probably went out to get drunk or something. You know he-" "Not after what happened. She hasn't touched any alcohol since that day." Tobias said, interrupting Chris once again. Audrey may not have drunk since Joey's death but the day of, she drank so much that she threw up and then she continued to drink. It didn't go very well. A knock on their apartment door caught both of their attention. Tobias shot up and Chris followed him to the door.
