There was a stern knock on the door, followed by a rough voice. "Audrey! Open up!" Audrey recognized the voice as Chris. She approached the door, stopping a moment to fix her posture, and hair, imitating sanity. Audrey opened the door, forcing a smile. "Yo,sup?" Tobias glared at Audrey from behind Chris. "What do you mean 'yo,sup.'?" Tobias asked angrily. "I mean 'yo , what's up?' Is it confusing?" Audrey let out a small giggle. Tobias returned a cold look, and in return Audrey's face fell, as she opened the door, inviting the duo in.
Tobias and Chris walked into the room. They looked around in surprise, as the apartment was spotless, except for crudely drawn heart, and blood trickle staining the carpet. Chris walked across the room, seemingly unfazed, and took a seat on the blue couch. Tobias,however,looked at the lines of blood and paint that trickled down the wall. "Why's that still up?" Tobias asked curiously. "Cleaning crew hasn't come around yet, and I don't want to touch it." Audrey said without hesitation. "Ok. Are you sure you want to be around that thing though?" Chris asked, pointing at the red splattered wall. "Yea,it's fine." Tobias took a seat next to Chris." We wanted to make sure you were okay, I mean you just up and ran off without a word." Tobias said, looking into Audrey's eyes,wanting her to understand. "Why'd you leave Audrey?" Chris asked, leaning over Tobias to meet her gaze. "This is starting to feel like an interrogation,guys." "Sorry but we wa-need to know." Tobias responded. "Are you okay,why'd you leave, do you need anything?" Audrey looked at Tobias' pleading eyes, putting on a heartfelt face. " I'm sorry I worried you, that wasn't my intention, I just wanted to get out again." Audrey said, using her acting skills, acquired from previous plays she starred in, to make the men sympathize her, or rather one man. "I'm tired guys, it's late." Audrey said, subliminally asking them to go. Chris stood, taking a hesitant Tobias' hand and making him do the same. "Hope you'll be okay, Audrey." Chris said walking past her, patting her shoulder. "Anything,Audrey. Come to us if you need anything." Tobias said, still being unnecessarily pulled by Chris. "Goodnight" Audrey farewelled from her doorway. "Goodnight!" The two shouted back in unison, as Audrey closed her door.
A sudden dark demeanor came upon Audrey, as a sudden urge pushed the rest of her sanity over the edge. A low growl of a word escaped her lips "...Pity.."
