Draco's POV:

Sunlight from his room's window crawled through his sleepy mind, waking him up. The soft figure beside him held him in place, and he instantly knew this person wasn't Astoria. Body heat can never be the comparison; the feeling defines Hermione. Even in sleep, her warmth can slowly make her way through his heart, which was never the case with Astoria. He knew this as this was not the first time he held Hermione inside his arms.

He was curious to know if Hermione remembered. It was the night of their graduation at Hogwarts. They went to the Astronomy Tower. On their music, he asked her for a dance. It was a muggle song stuck in his head to this day.

Sometimes, I get tired of this me-first attitude. You are the one thing that keeps me smiling, that's why I'm always wishing hard for you. 'Cause your light shines so bright, I don't feel no solitude. You are my first star at night, I'd be lost in space without you.

And I'll never lose my faith in you. I, will I ever get to heaven if I do?

Feels just so fine when we touch the sky, me and you. This is my, my share of heaven. Why can't it always be so good? But it's alright, I know you're out there, doing what you gotta do. You are my sole satellite. I'd be lost in space without you.

And I'll never lose my faith in you. I, will I ever get to heaven if I do? I'll never lose my faith in you. I, will I ever get to heaven if I do?

I'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you. You'll never lose my faith in you.

Sometimes he'd hum this song subconsciously in the shower or when he was cooking. To his relief, Astoria never knew that part of their graduation night, just Ron and Harry, and the two told no one. It surprised him that Ron didn't punch him in the face as ‌he was still Hermione's boyfriend.

A year after the two split up, Ron said it surprised him too that he didn't feel jealous of him after finding out who Hermione spent an hour with that night. The redhead said maybe it was because they spent a year together in one common room that made him trust his girlfriend. But he knew better. Ron didn't love Hermione as he was supposed to. Sure, he cared, but it was more on a sisterly level. Later on, Ron confessed he spent that hour with Lavender Brown, with his now-fiancee.

He opened his eyes and looked down at the young, beautiful woman sleeping soundly in his arms. He smiled and ran his fingers through her messy brown mane. Her small, delicate hands lightly grabbed his shirt resting on his chest, where his heart beat quickly. His eyes fell on her lips, and he swallowed hard.

Could she still remember—

Hermione shook her head and opened her eyes, and soft, whiskey-brown eyes looked up to him, and Merlin was mesmerized.

Hermione's POV:

Hermione could hardly believe that her Hogwarts days would end after that night. However, the years she spent with Harry and Ron and the rest of their classmates and friends will forever be imprinted in her memories.

The party was in full swing, everybody getting on their best dance moves. Hermione also had fun with Ron with their out-of-this-world dance move a while ago. She came for a drink at the banquet table as her throat felt parched.
