It's Saturday morning. I wake up to see that me and Adam are on the same bed. Surprisingly, he doesn't have his arm wrapped around my waist.
I quietly get out of bed. I grab my phone and check the time.
Wow it's already 10:36 am.
I decide to shower.
Once I'm fully dressed and fresh from showering, I get out of the bathroom.
I see Adam fully dressed as well. He's laying on my bed, using his phone.
My eyes widen as I see that he made the bed.
"Hey. Thanks for making my bed" I say and he finally notices my presence.
"No problem"
"So what do you wanna do today?" I ask
"Go out" he says looking down at his phone.
"Alright. Where?"
He thinks for a while. "How about we go eat? Or the park?"
"Or a small road trip"
"That's a good idea" he says getting up from the bed. "Let's go cupcake"
I sigh. "Ok". Since when have I been so obedient to him?
We're currently driving in his GMC truck.
"Let's stop by Baskin Robins" I say
"No"
"But I want to eat ice cream. Pleeeeas" I whine like a little kid.
Adam sighs. "Alright"
We get to Baskin Robins. I order a medium cup of chocolate ice cream.
I look over at Adam.
"Are you gonna order?" I ask
He shakes his head.
I take out my wallet to pay, but as I'm doing so, I see the cashier already has money in his hands.
I look at Adam. "Why do you always do that! Let me pay for once"
"Nope. I won't let you" he says
The cashier points to my ice cream. I take it without realizing it was there.
"Thank you" I say to the man.
He smiles. "Have a good day"
"Thanks. You too" I say
Me and Adam walk out.
"He was nice. You didn't even say thank you!" I almost yell at Adam
"Well I didn't get anything. So why should I say thank you?"
"Ugh. Just forget about it. But it's called having manners"
"Who says I have any?"
Ok. He won the conversation.
"Whatever" I say. He chuckles. "Where too now?"
"Let's go too-"
"The Santa Monica Pier" I finish off.
"Ok but this so called road trip doesn't seem like one"
"Right. But I really feel like going on the rides. So let's go" I say
We get to the pier. Once we've got our ticket we explore which ride to go on.
"Let's go to... that dragon" Adam says
