The Bad Boy and Me

Chapter 8

Adams house in the image above. I tried looking for images that matched the way I saw Adams house and found the best that matched. Put his kitchen and living room so it's only some of his house.

I wake up and open my eyes. I see Adam sitting in a chair next to my bed. He was looking at me. Who knows for how long.

"Oh thank god your finally awake" he says

I look around and notice that I'm in a small bed in a room and find out it's the nurses office.

"I don't feel so good. My head hurts" I say in a low voice clutching my head with my hand in pain. "What happened?" I say

"You got hit in the head with a ball and got knocked out." He tells me

I groan in pain still clutching my head.

"Don't worry cupcake I'll go call the nurse" he says getting up and exiting the nurses office.

Im left alone for a few minutes till I hear the nurses door open.

"Riley! I came running here as soon as Adam told me you got injured." She says. "How you feeling now?" She asks me. 

I don't bother asking how Adam told Ally I was hurt and instead answer her question.

"In pain. My head hurts" I say

"Well Adam is already getting help. So he'll be here soon with the nurse to help you" she says

I nod lightly since my head hurts a lot. A few more minutes pass by and Adam walks in with the nurse. She takes a good look at me. She said if I remembered anything that happened recently. I only told her I remembered kicking the soccer ball in PE practicing but after that I tell her I don't remember anything else. She gives me an ice pack and tells me I should go home.

Adam helps me get up from the bed with me putting the ice pack in my forehead. He helps me walk by putting my arm around his shoulder. He takes me to his truck and drives me home. We get home and he helps me get to my house. I point to a hidden area in the wall to enter the house. He sees the keys that open to the house and unlocks the door and places the keys back where I pointed too. He closes the door and locks it and then carries me up to my room. He places me in my bed.

"You should take a nap. I'll go get you more ice." He leaves and comes back with a bag of ice and places it on my forehead. He sits next to my bed to watch over me. Before I know it I drift off to sleep.

I wake up and see Aunt Sara sitting next to me. I groan with my head still hurting.

"Oh your awake. Don't worry much about your head. Adam left to get you medicine for the pain. He should be getting here anytime. Does it hurt really bad still?"

I nod lightly.

"Yea no kidding on how Adam told me the ball hit you hard at full speed." She says

My bedroom door opens and me and Aunt Sara look to see Adam with a medicine box.

"Here it is" Adam says handing the medicine to Aunt Sara. She takes it and reads the box.
