A teenage girl, that's 17 years old, named Summer, travels with her mom around the U.S. because of her father that serves in the Air Force. Her mom makes money by being the owner of a fabulous fashion industry called Seven Heavens. Summer's never ha...
The next day, we all found out if we made the team or not. Our coaches said that a list would be posted on the bulletin board. I knew that everyone would want to know if they made the team or not, so I figured I would get ready for the day, pack a practice bag just in case I made the team, and head downstairs early. I got dressed in a white top, a pair of jean shorts, a blue button up, and some tan boot heels. I put on a few accessories and little makeup. I brush out my blonde hair, and decide to keep it down. I grab my phone from its charger, my practice bag, and head downstairs. I grab a granola bar from the cupboards, and head out the door.

I get to school, and everyone seems to already be there. Some seem really excited so they must of tried out yesterday and made the team. Truthfully, I was happy for them. I hoped I made the team, too. I couldn't find Katelyn or the girls, so I figured they weren't here yet because I was a little early. I found the bulletin board and then I found the list of students who made the varsity and jv soccer. I scan down the list, and I finally see my name. Summer Morgan: Varsity. I got my phone out, and decided to take a picture of the list and send it to Katelyn and Troy.
Me:
(MMS) I made it!!
As I'm sending the picture to them, I look through the list, and see that Avery's name is on there. I ask myself: How is that possible? She wasn't even at try-outs! Or at school!
At this point, I let it go, and went about my day.

Katelyn's P.O.V.
I am driving to school with the girls when my phone goes off.
"Hey, Riley. Can you see who that is?"
"Yeah," she reaches for my phone and says, "It's from Summer."
"Open in it," I tell her.
"She says she made varsity. She sent a picture with it."
"Soccer? I didn't know she played sports. She looks way too pretty to do things like that," I joke.
"Yeah, but apparently she's really good," Heather comments from the back seat.
"Say back 'that's awesome'," I tell Riley.
"Wait a minute," Riley pauses, "Avery's name is on here. She wasn't even at school yesterday. How could she of tried-out?"
"That's odd," I reply. "Maybe the coaches didn't know she wasn't at school?"
"Well isn't that girl lucky," Heather snears.
"Well we don't have to worry about it because we aren't even on the team, so let's forget about it, alright," I reassure everyone.
We continue our way to school without touching the topic again.
