Chapter 25

I crack my neck, stretch out my limbs. It's been awhile since I've been like this... And it's thrilling.

I extend my hand to the opposite wall, and revel in the winds that blast forth. Only a little bit of suggestion and the wall caves in, blasting into the next room. Nobody's in that room, unfortunately. A pity, because few have seen me in this form. I turn back to the shaky, scared group.

"Now, ýou should all be excited! I can make an ice skating rink, now won't that be fun?" my voice is ice... smooth as the skating rink she wants to create. I flick my fingers at the floor in that room, and ice spreads, cracking and forming thicker layers. "Oh beautiful, now we just need skates!" I say, giggling. Suddenly serious, I announced, "I would go after that nasty little piece of work, but I feel she and the queen would be such perfect playmates" and I had another fit of giggles. "There's only one way to fix this. Let's wreck the castle!"

Another blast to the empty room, blowing the debris out of my way. A chill on the walls, so that they buckle and crack in an alarming way. The door's already open, so it simply blows off it's hinges and smashes into the door across the hall. Dissatisfied, I look up.

Two protruding shelves, holding furniture and such for those with wings.

Those will do nicely.

I gather the wind above them, and push down, making a barrier around me that flings anything near me across what's left of the room. They make a fabulous crash as they land, the furniture cracking as well. A glass table practically explodes, which is satisfying. My winds swirl around me, chilling my icy skin. I flick my hair out of my face with a simple gesture, but I can't resist the urge to touch the smooth ice.

Feeling my icy face, I notice something odd. "Are these.. Tears?!" I screech. Again facing my terrified audience, I look at my sister. "Rina... darling... what do I have to cry about?"

A tear, falls of my smooth ice face, and crashes to the floor in a million glittering shards.

"Youre crying because you know this form is wrong. You know that if you're in this form too long you start to hurt people. You're crying because you have no control, and you want it to stop." Rina is crying. Oh Rina...

There it is. She's beginning to melt... I'll be back soon Rina, I'm sorry...

"NO! I WILL NOT BE DEPRIVED OF MY FUN!" I yell, feeling the winds surge up. My power is weakening, as my heart is thawing, but I can still manage them just fine. I lash out at the remains of the wall, sending it into the wall next to Zarina.

"Dear, dear sister. I won't be so kind next time." I say, feeling my shoulders begin to seize up. My face, my beautiful smooth icy face, begins to drip. And I can't move, because my joints have all returned to immovable ice. I'm coming back, I'll be back soon... I swore it wouldn't happen again... It won't happen again. And suddenly I can move again, and everything is weak.

I fall to the floor. The still icy, cold, immovable floor.

"I'm sorry Zarina, I didn't mean for her to come out."

"Oh Ever... Ever it's ok... Ever... "

Darkness. Half icy, half warm, The floor, and Zarina's gentle hands. And then I can't hold on anymore.

A/N: I'm sorry guys... All the chapters are sad recently. So when Ever gets really mad, her powers take over, and she's an entirely different person. So this person is kind of like.... An evil twin sorta? And normally, I'd describe Ever as a day playing in the snow, and then going inside for hot cocoa. This person is like... Ice itself. She wants to have fun, but she's also a raging lunatic. Hopefully that makes sense...

Anyway, Have a great day, and please don't be disturbed by me!
