IV. WAS I TOO FAR GONE FOR YOU?

i often wonder where i went wrong. was it something i did, or something i said?
because in one moment you were so into me, and the next thing i know you're pushing me away.
wasn't my pale skin soft enough when you had her tanned one? wasn't my hair messy enough when you had her curly one?
did i let you see too much? that was it, i feel it in my bones. i let you inside my mind and heart and you ran away as fast as you could. i don't blame you though, despite my pale exterior my inside is darker than her skin, eyes or hair will ever be.

but i know you're no saint. darkness finds darkness, even in the sunniest day.
you know i'm onto you, so you just pushed me away.

but i keep coming back, against your and my will. because, no matter how dark you get, you're still bright enough for me.

-- do not forget me, i beg you.
i can assure you i won't let you.
