"Hey, where'd you get that?" Violet said indignantly.

"Hey there." I said with a mouth full of ice cream.

She opened her mouth and I gave her some vanilla ice cream.

"Mmm," she said licking her lips, "my favorite."

I laughed. Afterwards, we discharged her from the hospital.

We were lying down in bed when she took out her phone.

"Peter showed me this fun new app called Scrambled."

"How does it work?" I asked, lying down next to her.

"Well, put in anything at all and it just gets scrambled over and over again."

"You are such a nerd," I said.

"We, Alice, we are nerds."

We both agreed to put Peter's name and had so much fun. Lots of things came out until..

"Terep?"

She laughed. "Coincidence!"

I wasn't so sure.

"You sure?"

"Well, lots of guys look alike."

"They look alike?!"

"Yeah, ou never noticed?"

This was puzzling. I had an idea.

"Last name! Last names don't match!"

We set up the app and scrambled away.

"Urgh, Yanoshky IS Hyanyosk." I said with a facepalm.

"This means nothing!"

"Wanna find out?" she asked.

"How??"

Okay, I shouldn't have asked. I was completely worked up sitting at a table with Terep. Not because this was my first ever date but because of the fact Violet was hiding in a booth wearing shades and an earpiece. This was totally unfair! My date's being bugged!

"So, Terep, where do you live?"

"Easy, Hers Tracks, Tellonskers."

"That's a really nice place." I commented.

Hmm.. it was another anagram for Skratchers Skontellers. Or maybe it was a coincidence.

he was staring someplace else. Maybe we just watched too many CSI episodes. Plus, we were on an edge due to creepy B.J.

"Hey, I wanna show you something."

"I-I- umm.."

"Come on," he said, standing up.

He took my hand and led me outside. We were in the parking lot and there was no one around. No witnesses. I swallowed the lump in my throat. When we were near his car he took out a handkerchief.

"Night, Alice."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What did Terep do? I rushed out of the place just in time to see Alice fall into Terep's arms. He gently tucked her into the backseat of his car. He turned to me.

"Glad you could make it, Violet." he said smiling. He looked so evil.

"Let her go!" I said, trying to get nearer.

"Easy there, tiger. Wouldn't want your heart to act up again."

I froze. In two seconds flat, he had tied me up with a rope which came from God knows where, but it was tight.

"I don't want to knock you out. It might affect your heart and Alice wouldn't like that." he said before tucking me in the trunk.

Oh cool. I call the trunk, Wait! This was a perfect oppurtunity to test out my CSI skills. When he turned the engine on, I started pounding the back. I pounded really hard and finally, the headlight busted. This way, I could take a peek on where we would go. I waited patiently but got more and more terrified as we got out of civilization and the sky kept growing darker. I tried hard not to fall asleep when we finally arrived at our destination. He backed into the driveway and turned the engine off. I heard him get Alice and go inside. Was he going to leave me here? No. He came back and carried all the way inside and down the stairs. He then brought me to the basement.

It was soundproof. This is when terror finally kicked in. He continued to tie me up to the chair. Alice was bound by her hands and feet. He only tied my arms. We waited for a long time. Finally, a man came downstairs. He was dressed nicely with stylish, ruffled hair. He smelled nice as if he were going on a date,

He sat in front of Alice and leaned in closer.

"DON'T YOU TOUCH HER!"

He smirked at me.

"Violet, Violet, Violet" he said shaking his head.

He nodded at Terep. "Go and change now. We need Peter."

Terep obediently nodded and left.

"Violet, don't you remember me?"

I was puzzled. He looked vaguely familiar. He looked at me with disgust and spat out a piece of gum at me.

I scrutinized him. "B.J?"

"Ah, yes. Bubblegum Joe if you don't mind." he said looking very pleased.

Wait. I knew him. But from where?

"Last time we met we were all little tykes in elementary. Fifth grade, wasn't it?"

A twinge of annoyance rushed through me. Back when we first met, Alice was always tormented by a bubble gum boy. Only now did I realize that he wasn't a mere bully.

He was an obsessed lover.

"You turd!" I said struggling to get out.

"You pest! You ruined my plans. She was mine!"

"You're deranged!"

At that moment Peter walked down the steps.

"Why did you not put a handkerchief over her mouth?" he asked Peter looking very annoyed.

"She has heart problems. She won't be able to breathe properly," he said, looking down.

"What?" he scoffed, "Does it look like I care? Don't tell me you do like her?! You can't love! You can barely feel." he said sneering.

"HEY!" I shouted, "Don't talk to him like that! He can have feelings if he wants to!" I screamed. then turning to Peter I said, "If you let me go, nothing will change. I can still like you."

B.J. laughed loudly.

"Oh please. I made him!"

"Liar! You're not old enough to be his father!"

He laughed even louder.

"You know that Terep is Peter don't you?"

I nodded impatiently.

"Well, they're not real, you fool!"

I was confused. But he's right there!

"He's not my son. He's not even human! He's a robot!"
