I brought the news to Nathan and i am very pleased to say that he fainted. Yes he did. The poor guy fainted. He could face to bloodthirsty robbers and an explosion but he fainted when i said i was pregnant. I laughed softly and poked him. He was out cold. I sighed and watched a bit of tv in the living room. When he woke up i grinned at him.

"Chicken heart." I teased.

"Im a guy the prospect of pregnancy terrifies me." He said grinning.

"Come here." I called. He approache me and i said "Im proud of us."

"I know. I am too." He said smiling. He kissed and together we watched Zombieland.

--------- 9 months later ------------

I'll skip the gory parts because i really dont want to talk about it. One word to describe it? Painful. Excruciatingly painful. As if your whole body is on fire. Only when i heard my first born cry and i felt her in my arms. She was so small and beautiful. Her skin a light coffee brown and bright brown eyes like her aunt Deanne. Nathan was beside all through out the ordeal. He held my hand as i screamed. Then he handed me our first child. Our first victory together.

"Good job baby." Nathan said to me.

I smiled weakly at him. "Look Nathan, our first victory. Our little Victorine."

"That has a nice ring to it." Nathan said as he stroked me face. "Rest now. Dont over exert yourself."

"Mm-kay. Take care of our baby."

"I will. Sleep."

For a week we were in the hospital until our baby and i were fit to go home. As it turns out Nathan was better at parenting than me. He knew what do before the baby ever needed it being a former theraphist. Being the owner of the biggest company, a husband and a father. He managed his time well. He was always home only coming to work in important and urgent meetings. He was a stend strict but fair leader. He was a loving husband and a caring father. I try o do my best by him and we were happy. Little Victorine grew up fast. She didnt look like me but she looked like her father. The jawline and the shape of his face. Years passed and little Victorine wasn't little anymore. She was 5 years old when she yearned for a sibling. 9 months later Victorine had a brother. He still looked like Nathan but he had my color and a few of my features. We named him Jorah. Yes Nathan imsisted that his son ahould be named as a character in game if thrones.Years passed again and both the hair on my head and Nathan's were streaked with grey. Another child came when Victorine was a teenager. It was an accident really. We didnt plan on having a third child. Now i had my own little Joy. My life was bliss. I had a loving husband and three children. Victorine was the brains, Jorah was the muscle, and Joy.... Well let's just say she deserved her name. We never spoiled our children always thought them what was right and wrong. Years turned to decades and now my hair was half white. And Nathan's too. Victorine was now 24 and married to Nick. Nicknamed En. Jorah too was married to a sweet girl named Daniela. Nathan calls her Danny. Game of thrones fans would get that. And Joy was still a teen. Too young for sich things. Everything was fine especially when we were going to become grandparents. It was all like the happy ending i once dreamed and longed for.

Then came that fateful day.
