My previous words floated around the room until Charles spoke "we're mutants just like you" he smiled. I was honestly happy to meet another mutant other then Gloria "so your a mutant" I looked towards the two "I don't believe you. Now Mr. Xavier I do but what about you glasses?" I asked now directing my attention to him "I really don't think you want to know." He pushed his glasses up his nose. "I would very muc-" before I could finish my sentence I heard Gloria.

"Oh mercy I didn't know you had company," Gloria said bring over my water. Charles and Hank looked like they were in love with her, however Hank eyes started to travel lower down Gloria's body to see her in a oversized white button down shirt and some denim shorts.

"Eyes front glasses." I warned him with a threatening glare. He blushed and looked away from her, Gloria looked confused but shrugged her arms and smiled "hello I'm Gloria Cane it's very nice to meet you guys." She held out a hand for one of them to shake which caused Hank jump up from out of his seat to eagerly shake her hand which he did and smiled a awkward smile at her "I'm Hank McCoy and it's also very nice to meet a beautiful woman." He kept smiling until he noticed what he said "did I say that out loud?" He asked as his eyes widened, Gloria giggled and nodded her head yes by this point Hank's face was red as a apple "I'm sorr-" Hank begin to apologize but Gloria cut him off "thanks for the comment." She said smiling while lightly blushing, They just kept smiling at each other which was very stupid to me.

"Well I hate to break up your romance but may we get back to the reason why we're here?" Charles asked smirking.

They both blushed "oh um of course professor." Hank said sitting back down still blushing, I silently thanked Mr. Xavier in my head for making their little love fest stop. Charles smiled at me "your welcome." I heard Charles say in my mind I smiled at him which he returned.

"By the way I'm Charles Xavier." he said smiling at Gloria which caused her to smile too. "well it's nice to meet you Mr. Xavier but may I ask why are you here?" she asked in a polite tone "we are here to offer Mecry a scholarship to professor Xavier's school." Hank said really quick. We all looked at him weirdly before Gloria spoke

"May I ask why are you offering her a scholarship?"

"Be cause ms. Dawn has extraordinary gift that we would like to help her with." Mr. Xavier said in a serious yet kind tone "how are you attempting to help her." Gloria wraped her arms around my shoulders protectively.

"We have no intentions on hurting Mercy ms. Cane we would like to help her use her powers and learn more about them." Charles smiled at Gloria and me. "Well there's Notting to learn or to teach her. The government said that she had a healing-foctor and it." gloria said as if she was trying to make a point, mad angry point.
"But the government did say that she could have other powers." Charles smirked, At this point Gloria looked like she wanted to strangle him.

To break the tension between two so I decided to speak "do you really think you can help me?" for the first time in meeting Charles and Hank I was unconfident "yes I do believe that we can if your willing to attended my school." he smiled a genuine smile at me forgetting about Gloria's rudeness.

"Nope, no, not going to happen I was in trusted by the government to take care of mecry not let her run off to a school with two complete strangers!" Gloria raised her voice. I suddenly felted a wave of sadness and anger hit me "ms. Cane if I could interven-" Charles was cut off "No Mr. Xavier you intervene can not and you can not take away my Mecry!" by now Gloria was yelling before tears came to her eyes and soon begin to spill from her eyes "you can't take her from me. She the only family I have left!" she cryed even more heavily then before her brown eyes turned a ice blue, at this I felt sad beyond explaining so I knew it was her powers doing this messing with my emotions. "Gloria I'm not going to leave you." I said hugging her tightly "yes you are you need to go to Mr. Xavier's school to learn how to use your powers, leaving me along with no one," her voice was softer now "but I guess it's for the best." she begin to stopped crying "no it's not for the best, Mr. Xavier if I agree to come to your school can I please bring Gloria?"

Charles paused for minute in though but I could hear him "she wants to bring ms. Cane with her a well rounded woman but I'm afraid that her abilities might cause trouble," I begin to frown knowing that he'll say no "but After seeing how strong their bond is there's no way in the world I could say no." after hearing him say that...well think that I begin to smile. "Yes you may bring ms. Cane with you maybe she can even become one of are teachers." he said in a suggestion way Gloria stopped crying and looked at him to see if he's Serious "really, you really mean it?" she asked wiping away her tears "yes ms. Cane I am." he give her reassuring smile then turned to me,

"so Marcy what do you say to my offer?" he said probably already knowing the answer.

"Well how can I turn down a such wonderful offer."
